Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Abbey Centre
Excellent online booking system and new facilities, including friendly and helpful in-store staff. My recent routine eye test highlighted an issue requiring an emergency hospital assessment. Specsavers Optician (Eileen Christie) was highly professional and courteous and could not have done more during the examination, to explain the health of my eyes and the action required. I would recommend Specsavers in the Abbey Centre to anyone.

I got long range glasses from these people. After 2 months of struggling to watch TV I turned them upside down. Dennis Taylor style.Hey presto, since then I can watch the TV in clarity???Can't go to the shop wearing them like this.!Obvious to me a lay person that they fitted the right lenses in the wrong places.I paid a lot for these glasses.Was told my left eye was deficient . It always has been.!?Tell me something I don't know.As a lay person, I would assume that the stronger lens goes to the weakest eye.???

Lovely people and great service but when getting the eye test the letter lines were set high and of to one side. The lenses were flashed in front of my eye so fast I didn't get time to say if 1 or 2 was better. I felt confused and rushed. The optician was nice enough but seemed flustered and in a hurry.

Excellent service , I needed an emergency appointment for my daughter , who had managed to cause a paper cut to the inside of her eye .Spec savers saw her within one hour , with a follow up appointment for the next day . Brilliant service with the staff staying late to see her , Thank-you, especially to Tony .
