Its been a few yers, since ive been, so may have changed, however, i found my ecperience very neagtive. They dont seem to understand the complexities of the various mental health illnness. They where not underdstanding of my BPD and seem very unequip in how to help me. The staff gravitate towards emotinoal woman and disregard mens issues. I wouldnt return hear as it set me back. Like many other orgaisations, they dont bother if they dont see you again. I never got a phone call or email, to check up on me. Overall, a very negative experience, for me.

Got my hopes up going here as I had heard so many positive reviews however my experience was terrible! Very condescending towards me and when I was being vulnerable about my situations they were just being disregarded and I was made to feel unheard and helpless

Where the NHS failed me, FDAMH saved my life. That isn’t hyperbole. They truly saved my life.A fantastic group of people who genuinely care about helping those with mental health problems.I will always be eternally grateful for their ongoing help and support.

I was 13 when I went to fdamh and they helped me so so so much I was in a really bad place and after 6 months I got alot better had confidence and wasn't scared my friend is in a really bad place and I really want to help him so I suggested this hopefully it's the place for him cos it was for me :)

Not great I'm afraid. First contact was with Amy who assured me it would not be like a badger has just walked in. She DID reassure me , but this is where anything positive ends.an appointment with Michelle whom pulled 3 different reasons i'm not welcome from we only do gardening"" to "we only deal with mild to moderate mental illness" . The real gem
