Had our new fireplace fitted by John at the Gas Works last week and we couldn’t be happier with the work he has done. John is very professional in his work and a really nice guy. Very fair prices and he cleaned up after the work leaving our front room and driveway, where he had needed to cut some stone for our fireplace, absolutely spotless.Would definitely recommend and use this company again in the future. Thanks John, we are over the moon with our new fireplace.Kat and Dan

John was recommended to us by a neighbour. John came out to look at our Boiler and went into detail explaining what the boiler needed. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. John carried out a full in-depth service and replaced some parts that should of been replaced by the company who had previously serviced our boiler. I would recommend John, should you need your boiler servicing, or any other type of boiler work should you need it. We are very satisfied with the professional way he carried out the work..

John arrived on time and did an inspection of the gas stove and had to order the parts. The job involved a lot more work than was first envisioned but John carried on and still only charged the original quote. I would highly recommend him for good time keeping, cleanliness, professionalism and the quality of his work. Besides that, he has a great personality

My sister recommended John to me.He quickly identified the issues with my old boiler and rectified the problem the same day. He was very friendly and professional, and I would definitely recommend him as a reliable and knowledgable gas fitter.

So glad we chose John Burns from The Gas Works to install our new central heating boiler. Very punctual response to initial inquiry, arrived on time and carried out a professional job. Excellent pipework and good advice. Enjoyed having him on the premises. Job completed on time and on budget. Full marks John from a fussy retired engineer. Would not hesitate to recommend him.

John recently replaced a boiler in my house. He was very professional from start to finish. I was impressed with his expertise, the quality of the work, his professionalism and his communication. He tailored the requirements to the property and the cost was very reasonable given the extent of the work. I'd highly recommend his services.

We've recently had our gas fire repaired after it developed a fault. We were recommended to use The Gas Works by another company and we are so glad they did.John identified the fault very quickly and eliminated the need to buy any expensive parts, the fire was stripped, repaired, the flue tested, the fire reassembled & test run.My wife has since said our fire has never worked so well !!I can thoroughly recommend using this company, John is diligent, thorough and an excellent tradesman.
