Went to arrange newspaper delivery to a local care home which Londis already deliver too, when the man in charge told me the weekly delivery charge I queried it because it was twice what I pay for delivery to another address locally, he told me he didn’t like my attitude (because I queried the cost) and refused to deliver papers to my elderly father. I was stunned by his rudeness but having read the reviews of him and his shop I am not surprised. IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO STAR RATING I WOULD - AVOID THIS SHOP UNLESS YOU ENJOY BEING INSULTED.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Banned my partner today as he locked his bike outside on the bike bit. He threatened to hit my partner, to cut his bike lock and that if he ‘locks it there again it’ll be gone’ so he’s saying he’ll steal his bike. He was very aggressive, got in his face a lot clearly trying to provoke my partner to hit him (which he didn’t as he’s not a pathetic child like him). The owner then proceeded to call my partner a ‘chav’ and a ‘rat’ whilst also swearing at him continuously. I will be filing complaints and also a police report due to us fearing for his safety now. Absolutely pathetic, I’ve heard nothing but horrible things about this man. Grow up and treat people a bit nicer!!!

I had to endure the owner being extremely rude to a women, he even chased after her when she had left the shop. I had been told by several people not to go in this shop because of the owner, I will never go on here again.

Brilliant village shop, well stocked. Really lovely helpful friendly staff. The owner Ranjit is a lovely man, he often ordered things that I asked for an elderly client. The ladies always remember my daughter has a blue slush with a blue straw.

Rude owner, doesn’t stock the items the people of the village want, also a total hypocrite when it came to covid, refused service to people who didn’t have a mask on but owners were sited multiple times in shop without mask on and customers present.

The man in charge of this shop is extremely rude, I hope he cares enough to read his reviews.If he does, he should consider this ....According to one well known saying -The customer is King!You shouldn't abuse your customers because without them you won't have a business.To quote another -The customer is always right!Think about it!It's the customers that are doing you a favour not the other way round!

I popped in this shop for a drink as I have diabetes and wasn't feeling good, as I walked in I was met with verbal abuse for not wearing a mask, I produced my exemption card and explained I was exempt, he replied that I wasn't allowed in side and that he would serve me at the door. I explained that it was disability discrimination but but was still refused entry, perhaps he doesn't understand discrimination as his English wasn't to scratch. .please go in here if you have a disability as I will continue to use it regardless!
