Badger and Bobbins

I’ve had three sewing lessons with Helen (a Christmas gift that I have finally got round to booking). I have made a bag, a pillow case and a circle skirt (for my little one). I felt like I’d achieved something after every lesson and I loved having time to learn a new hobby. Helen put me at ease, encouraged me and made me feel confident to continue to make things and develop my skills. I’ve always wanted to be able to use a sewing machine and more recently wanted to be able to make clothes for my daughter but never thought I’d be able to. I’d highly recommend Helen; she is friendly, creates a relaxed atmosphere and made all of my lessons enjoyable. I’ll definitely be going back to continue to develop my skills after some practicing!

Went to my first class and made an apron from scratch! Had such a lovely evening. Helen is such a patient teacher and it was so nice to spend an evening meeting new, like-minded people in a very relaxed environment. Will definitely do another class

Had multiple amazing course with Helen at Badger and Bobbin! I have started off as nearly a beginner, then made circle skirts, a dress (through a 4 week course), and have signed up to start a new course making dungarees (for 6 weeks)! Helen is so patient, she has helped me learn so much about sewing that I am able to take home with me and use in my own making! And best of all her prices are so reasonable too!100% would recommend, to beginners, expert or those look to extend current sewing knowledge

Absolutely wonderful experience, would highly recommend. Helen is an excellent and extremely patient teacher, her kind, humble and expert manner made it easy for me to go from a non sewer to making my first patchwork quilt in just 4 hours (from beginning to end)!!

Helen is a wonderfully patient and creative teacher. Do not hesitate at signing up to her classes - even if you don’t believe it at the start of the course, you will definitely leave and go home with something lovely.
