Whiteabbey Dental Practice

I rang whiteabbey dental surgery out of hours this morning as I have a very painful abscess. I recieved a call back from Allister and he asked me to come up to the surgery so he could access the abscess. He was so lovely and very professional and couldn't do enough to help me. Thank you so much Allister for your kindness and for seeing me so promptly.

Incompetent staff. Reception literally makes you pay for their own mistakes. Doctors treat your mounth like its a car engine. i still have some pain problems in some of my tooths, gums are still bleeding even if i do what i was told to do. Last time gum problem was not even addressed after i mentioned it and left the place with worse tooth condition then i came.

Receptionist was extremely rude. Been suffering an abecess all over the weekend finally got an appointment for 2 o'clock today. That was fine. My face is getting worse with swelling that I can hardly see so I phoned back to see if someone could see me sooner! Her reply was you'll be alright untill 2.I have been in extreme agony and I don't think she fully understands that I'm not OK.

I recently needed a wisdom tooth extraction at very short notice. My dentist Kevin McVeigh, his assistant and all the reception staff were brilliant and very accommodating. Pain free with competitive rates. What's not to like. Thank u so much.

I have had treatment done with Joanna recently and can say that she has been fantastic. I was nervous etc but she has put me at ease. And the assistant is lovely as well.. I don't know her name unfortunately but I'm very pleased with the treatment. And reception staff are lovely.

This has been my dentist surgery for years. From phoning to make an appointment or having to get an emergency appointment, I have found the reception staff nothing more than exceptionally polite, professional, welcoming and a little humour thrown in as well. The dentistry team I found to be knowledgeable, reassuring, polite, informative and we're possible very willing to give me as a patient option's of treatment. The decor with in the practice has changed over the year's obviously, currently it's very clean, well lit and odour free.I have no intention of going anywhere else for dentistry needs in the near or distant future.Thank you to the whole team for a settling, warm and friendly experience on each and every visit.Mr B Hanson.

Can’t thank the surgery enough for getting my abscess sorted. Was in complete agony over the weekend and they did everything in their power to see me quickly, despite the enormous pressures they are under post COVID. Extremely grateful to Dr Mackinson in particular and looking forward to enjoying some gelato in Italy next week!

Just recently joined the practice. Firstly it is great that you can still get an NHS dentist. Secondly the whole team were just so lovely, from the reception team to my dentist and his co-worker. A massive thank you to everyone!

I rang the out of hours service as I was experiencing wisdom tooth pain during the weekend. The service Whiteabbey Dental Practice provided was unbelievable. I got a call back within 10 minutes, and the dentist arranged to meet me outside the practice at a time that suited (due to COVID), provided me with a prescription, and arranged a follow up checkup early in the week. Every staff member I interacted with was extremely friendly also - I couldn't recommend this dental practice enough!
