Eleanor the Celebrant

This lady has a gift! I worked with Eleanor when I was supporting with the planning and preparation of my friend's wedding ceremony. She is so friendly and approachable and took all the stress out of the ceremony rehearsals with her gentle nature and her professionalism. And at the actual ceremony herself... oh my goodness, her poetic words, her warm demeanour and humour just elevated the love in the room in a way I can't describe. She made it really special. I will be calling upon Eleanor for my own ceremony next.

My husband and I are so happy that we chose to work with Eleanor. It just took so much pressure off us, having someone experienced and wonderfully creative to guide us through our ceremony. Deciding what to put in your ceremony and what to say is harder than it looks and Eleanor just made it all so easy and came up with ideas that we would never have thought of! We really felt like she took the time to get to know us as a couple so our ceremony felt totally unique to us. I would recommended Eleanor to any couple looking to tie the knot, she is an absolute gem!

I worked with Eleanor on a friend's ceremony and she is absolutely wonderful! I was a bit nervous about my role and she reassured me and helped me choose an appropriate reading. She is so warm and kind and totally captured my friend and her husband in the ceremony. Have recommended and will do again to anyone looking for an amazing celebrant.UPDATE: we used Eleanor for our handfasting ceremony (we had a covid wedding so wanted to do something to make up for missing out on our big celebration) and she was just perfect. Eleanor takes the time to really get to know you individually and as a couple, the ceremony was so personal and all our guests said how brilliant she was and how heartfelt it was. It was so easy working with Eleanor as a bride, and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Eleanor was the celebrant for our wedding. She was supportive, warm, caring and amazingly enthusiastic at every stage of the process. Many things about organising our non-traditional wedding were stressful and many suppliers didn’t take the time or interest in understanding our vision. However, Eleanor was the opposite of this, calm, reassuring and took all the time needed to capture what we need as a couple. Making sure the ceremony was our story, reflected our personalities and celebrated what marriage made to us – in our case including hand fasting and a sand ceremony. Eleanor goes above and beyond her role at just about every turn, even when we had challenges from our venue and other suppliers. Our ceremony couldn’t have been any better.

I attended a wedding where Ellie was the celebrant, and it was such a beautiful ceremony. You could really tell that she understood the couples story and was dedicated to creating a ceremony that fulfilled their wishes. She did a gorgeous job creating a ceremony that celebrated their love with friends and family. Such a wonderful day. I highly recommend Ellie.

I recently attended a naming ceremony and Eleanor was absolutely fantastic. They were warm and welcoming, and they made the entire ceremony feel incredibly special and intimate. They took the time to get to know the family and the baby, and they tailored the ceremony to reflect their unique personalities and values. The celebrant's delivery was smooth, engaging, and heartfelt. They also provided guidance and support throughout the planning process, which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend this celebrant to anyone looking for a meaningful and memorable naming ceremony.

We chose to work with Eleanor for our ceremony, and it was the BEST decision! She is such a joy, and an incredibly warm person.We did not have a very clear idea of what we wanted for our ceremony initially, but Eleanor helped guide us through the process, and put us at ease! We were so very impressed with her creativity in crafting our ceremony; and the ceremony felt so personal to us!She was responsive throughout the entire process, readily available to chat, and she went above and beyond in so many ways (she mailed some keepsakes to our home in Illinois, created a guide for the area we stayed in, provided beautiful hard copies of the ceremony, among other things).We would absolutely recommend working with Eleanor, and she will always be a big part of our big day!
