I had been looking for a media unit for some time without finding anything suitable so decided to order a bespoke unit from Blue Island Home . The team were very professional right from the start, taking care to ensure measurements and design were exactly to my liking. I received drawings, regular updates and communication. The unit was duly delivered on time, very well packed, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. It looks amazing, is incredibly well constructed and for a bespoke solud wood unit offers excellent value for money. This company have been so professional, efficient and a pleasure to deal with throughout. I can wholeheartedly recommend them for anyone looking for stylish, well constructed furniture.

We contacted Blue Island before purchasing as we had a question about the wood colour. Not only were we given detailed info, but photographs included and recommendations too.Once ordered, communication was good and timely delivery.Upon delivery it was easy to fit the legs ready for use. All instructions were clear.The unit is very well made, and exceptional quality.We’d definitely use Blue Island again for future furniture.

Our experience with Blue Island Home could not have been smoother or better.Having found their furniture online, we measured up and made some enquiries at the weekend about some minor bespoke adjustments.Terry responded during that weekend and the additional costs for our adjustments was very reasonable; we wanted a coffee table made 20cm longer, hairpin legs on everything and a larger cable cut out in the rear of a TV/AV unit so the equipment could pass through the back without the need to disconnect and then reconnect all of the very numerous cables.Feeling confident we placed the order that weekend of 7 November and had some emails with Jim agreeing the final size for the cable cut out the following week.Heard again from Terry 18 November confirming our items were nearly ready and would be delivered by their own delivery agent Sam on 24 November.Sam maintained good contact and everything was delivered on the stated day and time.Really happy with the furniture which only needed the legs to be attached. (the legs themselves are actually a bit of an engineering work of art)Excellent quality and finish; and everything feels built to last.So pleased to have found BIH. Superb quality furniture only matched by the quality of the people involved in the business.Very much recommend.. and will be in touch with them again shortly for a bit more of a bespoke shelving item.

Absolutely lovely cabinet. Amazing woodwork and a really reasonable price. The finish is beautiful - I kept stroking it when it arrived! Buy from here rather than a mass-produced or certain Swedish flatpack company; you'll see the difference in quality immediately.

I could not be happier with the media unit. Its exactly the size and style I was looking for and now that it's in position it enhances the room. The service and communication from Terry was superb. If you are considering purchasing furniture from Blue Island Home go ahead. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I ordered a unit from Blue Island for my living room home theater setup as I needed something low enough to keep the TV at a good height with the centre channel.They customised the design to my specifications and the quality is excellent and great value for money considering the finished item. I absolutely love it and would definitely consider ordering from them again in the future!

Can’t say enough good things about Blue Island! Terry was quick to respond to questions outside of working hours and was accommodating with the customisation we requested, understanding exactly what we wanted. He told us about the fabrication process and timescales in advance which turned out to be spot on.The product itself is gorgeous, we spent ages looking around the usual big name places for a TV table but couldn’t find anything that fit our taste or budget. We came across Blue Island Homes by chance and it fit the bill perfectly. The finished product is incredibly neat with great joinery and finish, we couldn’t be more pleased.I’d also like to highlight Sam who couriered the unit over to us also, he was incredibly nice and polite, taking care also to text for permission to knock as it was an early morning delivery. Also very punctual too.Whole process from enquiring to delivery has been simply perfect and they will be the first place we look next time we need more furniture.
