Tesco Express

Pop in here the other day when I was walking along the sea front and needed a drink. Found it by accident but ideal shop I guess, entrance via driving a bit tricky due to the design, something to look at for the future. Easy to follow floor plan and can still get club card points. They could use more self check out stations to, get the checkout process a bit quicker

Useful in the winter when the shelves are stocked with actual provisions, very limited in the summer when it seems like its all been replaced with crisps, sweets and general junk for the visitors. The staff deserve medals for some of the things they have to put up with during holiday season.

This is a good place to buy prime as theyre always well stocked and the pain au chocolait is delightful

I wish I didn't even have to put a star. Whilst visiting the store alone and being 8 months pregnant, fell on some washing liquid that had been split and not cleaned up. After having fell to the ground with a mighty thud and not being able to get back up easily, then asked staff to help and with that had no response from either ladies working on the tills that day. I then had to roll on my side and get on to my hands and knees and help myself up whilst being cover in soap and slipping further. I lost my keys in the fall and later went back in to get them and they were lying in the same soap as I had fallen on. And after my husband seeing the distress I was in and going to complain to the manager was then told after I had fallen another lady after me did also. If that isn't poor staff management I don't know what is. After several conversations with head office, I was then offered £50 compensation then to be upped to £70 after being insulted. This is not acceptable by any means. They cannot treat customers of any kind like this. Thankfully myself and baby are fine. I shall not be using Tesco again.

Costa coffee wasn't very hot, it took 2 attempts to get Luke a warm drink, for £3+ not good.

My local, Always friendly, Always there to help, Only problem are the ques during summer, Perfect shop apart from that.

Mangers are useless and rude had a bad incident here a month ago! Not covid safe due to a dirty store, no masks on all customers, to dirty shelfs and poor management!

staff including what looked to be a manager not abiding by their own social distancing measure 3 staff stack the same shelf . isle is not 2 meters wide . couldn't follow the one way system due to the staff there and their trolleys . blocking it. then when I went to leave two off then walked right in front of me .so how do in a customer keep 2 meters between other customers and colleagues as the sign states ...I had left my phone in my car . otherwise I'd of took photos .trying to avoid people as it is .

*Update*Store now fully open*Update*The store is temporarily closed caused by an attempt to remove the cash machine. Extensive damaged to the frontage in this failed attempt. Removing from this small community one of only two general stores and the only free cash machine.A small but convenient store on the A259 as you enter Dymchurch. The staff are attentive and try to keep the shelves stocked in this small but very busy shop. The disappointing part is the amount of litter & masks that is in the Car Park. Not the fault of the in store staff who have enough to do keeping the store Covid secure and the shelves stacked. The Tesco management should factor in the maintenance of the Car Park on a daily basis to stop their customers discarded litter building up over a period of time (some times weeks). The store is next to a main Romney Marsh drainage canal taking drained water from the Marsh into the sea and the litter, chucked bottles and cans find there way into the sea adding to world sea pollution.
