Visited this place last week with my husband and back again this week with my girls forthe Diwali. Lovely hospitality by the staff plus the owners Jaybhai and Zalak patel. Amazing vegetarian food. It taste so much like eating in india. So happy that finally lovely vegetarian food is available in southampton. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy the authentic vegetarian indian food.

Visited last week. The food was on point but took way too long to arrive, when it did it was in drips and drabs. Wanted to have starters in one go but didn't happen. Service was good, i would suggest letting everyone finish their food before emptying the table. Waitress was reaching over us taking plates off our table while we were in the middle of eating. Atmosphere was nice.I would come again and would recommend everything on the menu. Especially the chilly paneer and Dosa.

If you prefer pure vegetarian restaurant, then you must visit Bites Of India Restaurant at Shirley High Street.The Food, Service and surroundings is excellent. You will get a proper indian taste.The cleanliness of the whole restaurant is amazing, owners of the restaurant always there for our service and they equally involved in the restaurant so we can get the best food and best dine in experience.I highly recommend everyone, don’t miss the taste of bites of india. Thank you so much Mr. Jay Patel and Mrs. Zalak Patel for the wonderful hospitality. We will surely visit again.

I did try out most of the main dishes, paneer chilli dry and fried rice was the best out of it. Im here for the second time having dosa nd vada . Highly recommend to those indian snack lovers . And mainly the prices are way cheaper than others!!!

Rates have sharply increased being a new business. So regular takeaways here, my 8 year was told he couldn't sit as he waited although the restaurant was empty in a rude way. The hostess had no custonwr service etiquette. Goes to show what happens when the proprietors aren't around.

With a nice open kitchen right in front of you, the service is very fast and the taste is really good. Visited this restaurant on multiple occasions, and they delivered the same taste throughout.Getting Indian street food in Southampton was difficult, but with Bites of India it has become convenient as you get the food that you're used to.The chefs make the food right in front of you with highest level of care and proper safety regulations. The owners are friendly and are always there to supervise the quality of food and service.Definitely recommended for anyone looking for the Indian Street Food experience right here in Southampton with very reasonable and affordable prices.

Had Brunch as recommended by friend, had Masala dosa, vada pav and potato vada, the food was a complete delicacy, Masala dosa was served with sambar and 3 varieties of chutney which was really good and up to standards. Hygienic and quality eating space and got food within 10-15 minutes of order , friendly and kind staff , good hospitality. Must try for anyone who loves Indian street food.

I recently had a wonderful experience at Bites of India Restaurant. The atmosphere reminded me of my home country, India. As a pure vegetarian, this restaurant was perfect for me. The staff and owner were incredibly friendly, helpful, and had a kind nature.
