Bee9 Design

I searched in vain for quite some time for a cabinet with doors suitable for vinyl. I found Bee9 Design on Etsy and discovered they make bespoke furniture and ended up with this beauty. I might need to order another one as I appear to have filled it up already.

Bought a sideboard from bee9 a year ago and am very happy with it. They were really helpful and it was shipped very securely. It took a while but considering it was custom made to our specific requirements I can't complain at all - it was definitely worth the wait! It looks great and is very sturdy. Would highly recommend!

Great dealing with Adam. There were a few amends in the design from my side and nothing was an issue. Very happy with the finish, exactly what I wanted. Will definitely use Adam's services again.

Adam did just what I asked, it is all beautifully crafted and just as l hoped it would be.

After placing an order in October 2022 I was given an estimated shipping date of mid December 2022 but didn’t receive the item until end of May 2023!The shipping date was pushed back 5 times with continued misinformation and poor communication throughout. Given the number of setbacks we negotiated a 10% discount but this was never received despite asking twice for it to be sent across.I trusted this company given the high rating on Etsy, but as I was unable to leave a review on Etsy myself (due to Bee9 design not using Etsy's payment system) I predict this may also be the case for a number of other unhappy customers, as it has truly been the worst customer experience I’ve ever had.

They worked with me to create an amazing custom design. They sent samples of materials beforehand and produced high quality furniture that will survive for generations.

We ordered two yokohama sideboards for our home in San Francisco. The items were packed beautifully and arrived in a timely manner. We LOVE the pieces - they are well-made and gorgeously designed. We plan to order more from this company in the future

I ordered a custom desk in April to be delivered six weeks' later. Around 8 months and 160 chasing e-mails later, I now have a beautiful - but still faulty - desk (I am still waiting for them to call me to finally get it fixed but as it's been six weeks I have lost hope they will). I am dissatisfied with Bee9 - they have been unprofessional, disorganised and incompetent. I will not be ordering with them again.

We have recently taken delivery of our Oslo and Yokohama sideboards, and are absolutely delighted! We did a lot of research before, but there wasn't anything we found that matched the aesthetic and flexibility in terms of dimensions/detailing. I have to confess to being a bit nervous as we didn't see in person before ordering, so weren't exactly sure what would arrive. The fact that we were ordering custom dimensions made it even more nerve wracking. Hilary & Adam were very accommodating to ensure our dimensions and details were included.When they arrived, every dimension was spot on, every detail finely finished to an excellent standard.Whilst the manufacture took a while to start, the delivery was fast, and they were excellently packaged.These pieces of furniture are not cheap - however, you are supporting a small business, skilled craftsmanship and they're a investment which will hopefully last generations and give lots of joy. If Bee9 is within your budget, I'd highly recommend them.

We ordered bedside tables, custom length 600mm, for our new house in Sydney. We visited the workshop while on holiday in UK to assess the quality of the products before ordering. The minimalist design and use of ply was perfect for our house and they look great. Very well made and finished. They were packed extremely well for shipping and arrived in perfect condition. Couldn’t be happier. Thanks Adam and team.
