Spalding Household Waste Recycling Centre

When Spalding Household Waste and Recycling Centre works properly it is normally a pleasure to visit. They have recently accepted that it was necessary to reopen the second lane around the premises to allow traffic to flow better and that has made a huge difference and helps to avoid the massive queues that had been building up recently. The site accepts almost all forms of household waste and the staff are usually friendly and helpful. Another improvement would be for the site to return to 7 day a week opening between April and October. It would also be great if it could be expanded or move to a new larger site but I won't hold my breath on that point.

Ridiculous it’s closed 2 week days..Tues and Weds. So no wonder there’s so much fly tipping around the area ! SHDC need to open the tip every day. If necessary get some part time workers to only cover the two days per week.

We have been there several times. Often with heavy things. The staff were absolutely amazing. Helpful. Friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Brilliant.

Both visits me and my sister made the staff were helpful and friendly. I am pregnant so can’t do any heavy lifting but the staff were always willing to help. Great guys!

Went today (Saturday) expecting things to be hectic. Everything was fine, very well organised and the staff were extremely helpful. Very good service, thank you.

Just been to recycling centre. Very helpful and polite staff as always. The only thing to improve the experience is if people could actually manage to park their vehicles properly and with regard to others having to pass by them.

I have used this facility for over 30 years and I have consistently found the operatives to be very helpful. They always help me if they see I am having difficulties lifting.

I've just been here around 08:40 today. Brought a few mixed bits on my bicycle trailer.Not busy at this time and the staff were more than happy to help.Very organised place, I'll visit more often when needed.
