Well, where do I start?!?!I arrived at 10pm on a rather disastrous Monday night. I made a last minute booking after a failed house move and a serious car accident that saw my car being scrapped on the spot.I arrived by taxi, and started off loading all the stuff that had been in my car at the moment of the accident. Enough stuff to fill the lift 3 times.Once all my gear was off loaded and somehow into the reception area, I approached the receptionist, expecting a rather hostile" welcome

Don't like sleeping away at best of times. Bed was comfortable. Nice clean duvet and pillows. In room coffee is like mud, so we bought a tin of Azar coffee and our own milk. A bath is in the unit, some have shower only. 24 hour pizza available, was as good as some pizza restaurants. Pleasant stay.

I have posted a review already, but this appears to have 'gone missing'.I stayed at Travel lodge Central last weekend (21-23 October).My room was lovely and clean as was the bathroom. Thank you to the hard working Housekeeping team!The food was lovely in the restaurant.All the staff were very nice, friendly and professional.I would definitely recommend the hotel to my friends and family.Thank you.

Right alongside Ipswich Football Club ground and quite close to the town centre. Almost new hotel with the latest fixtures and fittings. Paid parking outside (£5 a day payable to a separate parking company). Very good value with an onsite restaurant, too.

Very clean and modern bedrooms. You don't get the musty smell as may be experienced in some hotels. The provision of a hot water kettle for chocolate/ tea and coffee maker for different types of coffee is useful. The staff are courteous and helpful. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk away from the station and the price is simply right. Great service.

Stayed here with my fiancé for our anniversary and can safely say we will never be staying again. I had to practically beg the hotel to replenish our tea and coffee and in the end actually gave up because they just never did. The rooms were barely cleaned and maintained and any time we made a simple request it was met with curt responses and passive aggressive tones. Me and my partner like to go for walks and whenever we entered or exited the building we were just given dirty looks from reception like we’d done something wrong. Even when asking to buy a bottle of water I was told in a sarcastic manner “you actually have to pay for that you know”…yes I know that?? I really think the whole team at Ipswich Travel Lodge Central would benefit from a course in customer service and satisfaction.

Stayed the second day of opening after their refurb and it was lovely. Staff we lovely and really welcoming. The shower was amazing, it was such a peaceful room and the beds were super comfy leading to an excellent nights sleep. Everything we needed was there for the whole family. The breakfast was lovely and I really liked the way it was laid out for you to get what you wanted. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Had a great stay here for a recent work trip. It’s only been open a few weeks, so everything is brand new. The bed was incredibly comfortable and AC in the rooms was such an unexpected bonus! Breakfast was decent and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Location is a short walk from the railway station.

Lovely and clean. Staff were lovely. After checking out we had to return a couple of hours later as my partner had left his hard drive plugged into the TV but the lovely morning staff found it and returned to us. Only issue we had was with ordering evening snacks and the food wasn't really edible
