Today I found this little gem for a latte and fresh croissant at a good priceIt's tucked away down towards the meat stallItalian lady making fresh breads and rolls and pizza too,the premises are exceptionally clean and when the bread comes from the oven the aroma is delightful:There are a couple of tables and chairs to sit inside if you prefer or you can take away.I bought a tiger loaf and it was so fresh and delicious ,I will definitely be returning for another coffee and try a soda bread loaf next time:The lady makes fresh pizza panini's and either lasagna or tortellini to eat in or take away all very tasty

Somewhat strange opening times. Closed all day Sunday and Monday. Most shops inside close far earlier than the 4PM advertised closing time. I am sure they would do better if the opening times were somewhat longer and more normal, compared to other shops.

I love this market. There are so many stalls offering everything from watch batteries to home made Jamaican food. The vendors are all very friendly too. Would highly recommend.

Like wandering around the market. Being a Chelmsford girl" I remember there's always been a market in Chelmsford. Theres a very nice Charity stall with a great choice of items including Christmas gifts and paraphernalia. There's also a really great fabric stall which is mainly upholstery and curtain fabrics with a wide choice of patterns and colours. Plenty of bargains to be had and a great variety of food

Made my purchase from the wool stall. Good quality yarn and a pleasant lady serving.They do an offer if you buy multiple amounts of wool, which is generous.If you are into knitting or crochet give them a try.If you are looking for fresh fruit and veg the stall is well stocked, the produce looks fresh.The market is well run, and kept clean.The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.

Love place. But showing signs of the difficult times we are liveing in. Once a very busy market. But now when we went very quiet. More second hand stalls than normal. Many areas no stalls at all. Which is a shame.. I used to love a busy market with a good selection across the board. But unfortunately they seem to be dying a slow death. Is the Internet winning??????
