Ticket to Ride Surf School

Fantastic. Joined a group for improvers and saw rapid improvement within the 2 hour lesson. Charlie was excellent, engaged and gave brilliant advice each time one of us caught a wave. The team are able to adapt to different skill levels very well and will ensure you have the right board and appropriate goals. Before the lesson I could barely stay on the board, afterwards I was comfortable standing and turning and consistently catching waves

Me and my buddy hired boards on Saturday and Sunday from Ticket to Ride for the weekend! Everything went smoothly, it was our second time hiring there BUT we hadn’t realised that they closed on Sundays out of season (it certainly didn’t ‘feel’ out of season! 20 degrees in October)We were pretty gutted until Charlie, the friendly fella behind the desk, hooked us up by lending us roof straps and giving us a secret location to stow the boards when we finished with them on Sunday! (Cheers mate! You saved our weekend!)Professional, affordable (given they are literally right there at watergate bay), the equipment was good to go and we had an amazing time!I might have my own board by the time I return, but I’ll definitely need lessons and they will be the first place I call!

our children absolutely loved their lesson with Lucy at Ticket to Ride. They learnt so much in their lesson whilst having the best fun. great value as private lesson between 4, with lots of individual attention. whole team was friendly, supportive and professional. highly recommend

Went in as 6 beginners and had a great 2 hour lesson with Charlie. Fun and incredibly helpful, with all of us standing and riding some of the waves in before the end of the lesson.Place had changing areas and a shower to rinse off. We were able to leave our bags and such in the club house while out on the beach.Overall a great session and a fantastic start to our day!

Great experience and service. My 2 kids had a private lesson during the May half-term. Their instructor was fantastic and coached them brilliantly for the full 2 hours. Highly recommend.

Ru was brilliant with my daughter she’s an 11 Yr old never surfed and after one lesson she was surfing. Really gave her the confidence to achieve her goal! Thank you Ru

Had a great time here last week. As a surfing novice I didn’t really know what to expect but the instructors are so friendly and knowledgeable they really help you learn the ropes. I paid £35 for what I think turned out to be over 2 hours mostly in the water (including surf board and wetsuit). For me, fantastic value for money! Can’t wait to sign up next time I’m down in Perranporth, cheers guys

Amazing experience! Absolutely loved the surf lesson I did with Ticket to Ride - the instructors were so informative and super patient with me, having never surfed before! Really enjoyable lesson and I even managed to stand up a couple of times! Loved it so much much, I even bought a jumper! Thank you Ticket to Ride, cant wait to come back!

I had a lesson with Charlie today and I can't recommend him more. He was so good at spotting exactly where I was going wrong to help me make progress quickly. He made it such a fun few hours and I came away really excited to get back in the sea to have another go soon. The location was also great and super handy having changing rooms and a shower.
