Our poor wee cat has had to have a couple of emergency dental surgeries in the last year, Abercorn are amazing at responding to what is needed, helping us through the emergency and attending to her (and our!) needs through the healing process. We love Abercorn!

My little old man was very unwell and tired towards the end. The care and love the vet shown at this time was amazing. She was so lovely and made the moment easier. My boy looked like he just slipped peacefully. The after care was amazing also. I requested his footprints and I received a beautiful paw print in a keepsake box along with prints of his nose and a little glass bottle of his fur. A handwritten card and a pkt if forget me knot seeds. I was not expecting all that. These vets are caring and professional and not just doing their job the genuinely care. So thank u abercorn vets for making my little patch last moments comfortable.

Great veterinary practice, where everyone does their best to provide high level care to my dogs. My male dog is always happy to visit and drags me in! Having an ongoing medical issue, Portobello Branch feels like his second home, and he would quite happily move in with James and the team!

The best practice in Edinburgh. Really cares about animals not about charges. My older dog had few health problems and he was treated with a really good care. I live on other side of Edinburgh now, but don’t mind to come all the way here because I really know he will get the best help.

The care shown to my frightened rescue cat each visit improves Susie's experience and is gradually building up her confidence. The vet always takes time to examin Susie in a way she can cope with. We discussed different options to calm her down and felt listened to and understood.

I registered my rabbits here on the RWAF recommendations for a rabbit savvy vet.Rachel at Abercorn is a bunny expert and knows how to work with and treat rabbits and has lots of compassion and love for our pets.All the vets that I have met here over the years are caring and happy to talk about any concerns. When one of my pets took ill a few years ago over Christmas the team bent over backwards to help and showed great empathy for our situation.

I have 2 dogs and unfortunately Johnny my eldest had a tumor and had to be PTS. The support from reception staff and James both Johnny and we received at this time was amazing and so compassionate. I was apprehensive about returning with my other dog Izzy after losing Johnny but Abercorn saw her immediately when she developed an inflamed paw. The vet Suzy immediately diagnosed the issue and took time to reassure both us and Izzy and prescribe the correct treatment. Excellent service and great staff. Thank you again.

I’ve used Abercorn for a decade for my French bulldog Louis. He’s had a variety of health challenges over the years, and Victor and the team have been really supportive and gone above and beyond to provide treatment - even offering advice from video when we were unable to get Louis to their building. I’ve always found them to be very pragmatic & trustworthy with their advice and fair with pricing. Highly recommended.
