Tŷ Aberdafen - Canolfan Brainkind Cymru

Worked through an agency for 2 weeks. There was a constant flow of new ppl as most staff are recruited through agencies (With the exception of management). Morale seemed low amongst some staff and residents. Health of the residents varied - some were fully mobile whilst others were completely immobile. Most of the support workers seemed motivated to provide a good service to the residents. I can’t comment about management as they were mostly in their offices and I had little to do with them. In conclusion it was a challenging environment and felt there was little appreciation and care for staff.
