Barchester - Alice Grange Care Home
What a joy to enter this really well run home. Such a clean, friendly place. All the staff were incredibly friendly and Penny the Lead Activities Coordinator was extremely welcoming.I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone. It was an pleasure to visit and it feels like a home form home.

Was a stall holder at an Autumn Fayre at Alice Grange and the location where we were set up at was beautiful decorated and very clean. I was very impressed with how friendly and welcoming both the staff and Penny, the event organiser, were and look forward to attending future events there.ShellyWoolly Crafts Ltd

I have lived here for more than 5 years I think Penny on activities is amazing and so glad we have her back. The activities has vastly improved and there is lots of variety. The staff are all amazing, Lumi is very good and always there for us all

Barchester - Alice Grange Care Home
I am always made to feel welcome and nothing is to much trouble its clear to see that all staff are accommodating and treat the residents with dignity and respect. The food always looks amazing and the variety of entertainment and activities is always good to see families receive a copy of the weekly planner and are welcome to join in.The residents are able to use the gardens which are manageable for all and are safe and secure. There is a large car park and a easy accessible drop off point.

Barchester - Alice Grange Care Home
I am ambulance staff and have visited this home on several occasions. Hand on heart it’s a lovely home, beautiful rooms, dining areas and lounges. Staff are courteous and friendly and I always get offered a drink or lovely slice of the homemade cake if I’m there for any length of time. Keep up the good work!

Barchester - Alice Grange Care Home
I've been here since March and am delighted with Alice Grange. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and maintained, and the staff are all excellent. The food is good too - fish and chip Fridays are legendary, and chef is always happy to cater for special requests. I have viewed other homes and this is by far the best I've seen.

We visited with our 3 inch scale miniature traction engine. Penny was very accommodating and the residents had a great time riding on the trailer. The staff joined in too. Amazing feel about the place and the residents couldn't be more complimentary about their home. The cake is very good too. Thanks for inviting us Penny

Barchester - Alice Grange Care Home
In addition to a good scenery, another important factor to consider when I looked for a home for my mum is her safety. Alice Grange Care Home has any equipment that are well maintained. I felt confident that my mum and her belongings are safe and secure. There are always enough staff on duty with the skills needed to make sure she is safe. The staff are attentive to the well being of the residents. They are caring and loving to them like they are their own mum/dad.

Barchester - Alice Grange Care Home
My Grandma has been in this care home for 5 years and she loves it. There are pretty gardens to sit in the summer and lot's of activities to join in. The staff are all lovely and the new renovations on the ground floor make it feel so cosy. Penny the activities co-ordinater is great!

Barchester - Alice Grange Care Home
I visit Alice Grange regularly and I find the home and the staff excellent.There is a dedicated team of carers who know their residents very well and are quick to react to their needs.The Activities Team have always got something going on to keep the residents busy and entertained.Alice Grange have their own transport which is a great bonus for hospital appointments and days out, not many homes offer this. 5 stars.
