We had good food ranging from Bao Buns to a quite enormous, well-cooked, sea bass. Comfortable atmosphere and decor. Interesting and well balanced cocktails with a seemingly regularly updated selection.

By far the best roast dinner ever. The beef was cooked to perfection, the vegetables amazing and that puree was divine. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

*Updated*New Brunch menu was amazing. Really tasty and visually stunning. I'm never disappointed when I come here.Lovely atmosphere, fantastic food. We had a great time there today (19/12/21) There was 7 of us and we all had different items off the menu & all of it was amazing. I would recommend to anyone that wants to try something a little different with big flavours.

We visited as part of a wedding party and we were very impressed. They changed my order last minute and the salad I had instead of fish and chips was amazing. Very yummy blueberry and feta. Very grateful for the effort.

Amazing tasty food. I absolutely enjoyed the katsu tofu curry! Amazing flavour, perfect tofu. Delicious. All other dishes on the table were enjoyed. Definitely recommend

So nearly all the food was perfect. One dish was not, which was the short rib as it was just fat, hard to cut and generally too oily, but I give this place 5 stars because of the way they dealt with it. They could see the issue and unexpectedly removed it from the bill and apologised. Great service and the rest of the food was excellent and our party was very very happy with the food. We ordered a lot of vegan food and this menu accommodates vegans well. Cocktails were great. Juliet was lovely and was knowledgeable about the menu because the restaurant did a great thing by allowing the staff to try the whole menu.

A mixed bag...It's a brave move to name a restaurant Gastronomy - it implies a high level of quality and expertise, and an experimental and challenging menu.The service was excellent, from when we were greeted, how we were served and the attention to needs and detail. The wait staff were very good. The food was a mixed bag. Straight to mains with two steaks, chicken and a flatbread. One of the steaks was great, the other had a lot of gristle - around a quarter of the steak. The wait staff were great and quickly offered a free dessert. The chicken was okay" - the skin was highly seasoned and flavourful

Recently visited for a roast dinner, completely underwhelmed which was incredibly disappointing. Had heard good things about this roast but at £18.95 a head I was expecting a lot better than I received, I personally felt that the quality of the beef was poor with lots on sinus running through it meaning that it was particularly stringy. Portion size was average with a small side plate or cauliflower cheese, won’t be returning for a roast again but willing to try other dishes next time.
