Mine and my friend’s recent experience has left a stale note in our usual love for Sainsburys. We didn’t catch his name but knew he was in a management role and can be identified by his oversized pointy hair. We were completely undermined and patronised, and witnessed this same disrespectful manner to his staff too.Unfortunately this made our typical food shopping experience a rather unpleasant one. This felt targeted due to our youthful appearance. Continuing our shopping we could sense tension and stress coming from the rest of the staff- not the atmosphere we should expect from a big family business like Sainsburys. Disappointing.

I love this branch! You can find everything you are looking for, usually finds deals, and all the staff are lovely and friendly. There is a good carpark behind the store, but make sure you leave the Carpark by an hour!

Now this is a supermarket that knows how to serve a sale rail. I went in just to have a look and came out with a vegetable peeler, a sloth kite, and some frozen chicken liver - How random am I?! Or how random and brilliant and beautiful is Sainsbury? I truly believe there is no another place like this on the planet

Good store in the city with toilets and cafe. Has a wide range of nearly every essential there is (branded and Sainsbury's own). Lots of clothing, Christmas items (food, decorations, lights and wrapping paper).Free parking for 1.5 hours no need to validate ticket anymore - number plate recognition upon entry to car park. Several self-service checkouts but I didn't see scan as you shop.

I love sainsburys. I always have. The way some people treat the customers is so kind and helpful. I tried to help my customers when i worked there. I really do love sainsburys. Its so much better then other stores.

Nice Sainsbury’s located just outside of the city centre. You’re not far from the bus station or shops here. Quite a big Sainsbury’s with everything you’d need, found some nice Christmas presents in here. Staff and the people here are quite friendly.

The staff at this Sainsbury's store are excellent. Today, for example, they supported a neurodivergent shopper who was finding the checkout process a little stressful. Although very busy, they opened up a new checkout to allow this particular customer the space that they needed. Just one example of many when I have seen checkout staff at this store treat people with kindness and dignity.

An ideal and handy supermarket to have in the middle of the City for last-minute grabs and convenient shopping trips. Well stocked and staffed.The newly included Argos section is great for Click and Collects and online purchases.

Spotlessly clean and well laid out. Public loos checked regularly and well maintained. Upstairs cafe has rebranded as Starbucks and in store Argos is excellent. Rarely cross town to visit other supermarkets now.
