Travelodge Stoke Talke

It was absolutely fine. Because of the low price, your expectations are basic. Therefore, you tend to find the positives rather than negative aspects of your stay.The room was a good size, the bed was comfy, towels and tea / coffee provided + generous in providing lots of extra sachets when requested. We were very quickly provided with an iron and hairdryer when asked. It's clear that this is a common request as I saw many available.The best asset of the hotel is the staff. They were unfailingly friendly, helpful and positive. They really represented the company well.I've knocked off a star for two reasons. Firstly, there's no lift. There were rooms on the ground floor so disabled people will be ok. However, if you have an upstairs room, you will be required to lug your heavy bags up the stairs. Secondly, the room was uncomfortably warm / muggy. This was despite the heating being off and the cool temperature outside. I'd imagine this could be particularly unpleasant in hot weather.All in all, a perfectly decent place to stay for the price.

Me and my partner use many of these Travelodge on our journeys. They’ve not always meet up to expectations. But for the first time I have to say for a 3*** hotel it is extremely clean from carpets to surfaces . The staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. It’s also comfortable and quiet. Also in a good location not to far from town. Would definitely use again in the future.

Very good value. All the staff were extremely friendly with a smile and a greeting. Decent size clean room although the lighting is very dim and not good enough to read in bed. Beware the vending machine in reception though. Steals your money but apparently its not Traelodge's responsibility!

Superb value for money, room was big, 6 ft bed, lovely clean and comfortable, staff were lovely, all round a very good place to stay for not much money, would defo use again..

I have to say this is the best Travelodge we have stayed in. The staff were fantastic and so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. The shower was powerful, hot and clean. All the carpets were being cleaned on arrival, so the whole place smelt very nice. Plenty of parking and a greggs and subway a stone's throw away. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Monica was a legend and gave excellent tips on places to visit and nearby facilities. The Travelodge is near the motorway for access but far enough that I heard no traffic and I slept with the window open. The room I was in looked onto grass around the back. The petrol station on the roundabout was 20 pence cheaper than motorway fuel so I filled up there. Overall an excellent stay; cheap, comfy bed; quiet, excellent staff and great facilities nearby.

Perfectly good. Ideal for the m6, couple of little food places in the complex (not 24h). Rooms are what you expect from a Travelodge. Well priced.

Good 'original' Travelodge with comfortable, quiet rooms. Ideal for a stop off North or South on the M6.

The rooms spot on the staff helpful Andrea on reception was wonderful she always got a smile for you nothing to much trouble 10 out 10

Rooms are getting very dated and run down. The staff are always helpfull.Location is terrible there's nothing around it.
