We stayed one night in September, when we were shown to our room, we had to wait while the person from the room next door removed his clothes from the wardrobe in our room, apparently his basin was not in use so he had to use our facilities. We were offered another room after we said we would like to cancel, which we accepted, this room was OK but the shower room was tiny........ We were told we didn't need to book for dinner and we soon realised why, this was the hotel's dinner menu!!! Unbelievable!!! Warning bells should have rung when we couldn't find any details of the food on the hotel website.... we had to drive to a restaurant in the next village!! The breakfast was very good although had to complain about the yogurt as although in date clearly something wrong with it!!!! Not a very enjoyable treat" night away."

The Vines is n lovely setting Nr Bampton with surrounding beautyIan and Camellia were great hosts nothing was to much for themThey have only been at The Vines several months but their dedication and enthusiasm is magnetic.We will definitely return for another visit

We had a great stay at The Vines hotel. The owners made us very welcome . The room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The Sunday roast and cooked breakfast were delicious. We hope to return another time.

Amazing and comfortable beds. Staff very helpful and friendly, nothing is too much for them. breakfast is delicious and cooked fresh every morning. Food has a different theme every night . Mexican night was delicious. Quiet surroundings but only 30-40 Mins drive to see other site seeing places. Manager on site all the time and nice to socialise in the evening with these very friendly and helpful couple . Good luck as they have only taken over within the last 5 months. We will be back!!

Me and my partner stayed here for two nights. Lovely hotel room and the service was amazing. The food was really nice as well as the free breakfast that came with the room. I would definitely stay here again

Lovely quiet little hotel. I stayed in a double room in the Annex & it had everything I required. The bed was comfy, the room had plenty of space & was clean & quiet. Unfortunately I got there too late to enjoy a meal but they did keep the bar open so I could have a couple of beers when I arrived. The evening staff could not have been more friendly helpful too.The mornings full English breakfast was one of the best I have tasted. Again, the staff on in the morning were fantastic.I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in the area.

Had a lovely weekend stay at The Vines. Found the staff/management to be very friendly, cheerful, and willing to go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.We had cooked breakfast each morning, we could not fault it. Excellent.The evening food is themed, which I enjoy trying different food, unfortunately my husband is a steak aholic when on holiday but they managed to sort something out for him.The rooms were very clean and very comfortable.They cater to people with mobility problems (which we are) we had a ground floor room with walk in shower located in the cottage next door to dining roomThank you to all at The Vine

Had a one night stay on Wednesday. We were given a very warm welcome by Ian. Our room was large, clean and comfortable with huge fluffy towels.Breakfast was perfect. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Stayed here for work. Staff was amazingly helpful and went above and beyond in being hospitable. The manager/ owner helped me figure out travel plans for my next stop and was extremely nice and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here when going to Brize or any other reason to check out the area.

Feels like a family hotel. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel has a relaxed comfortable feel about it. The menu is very restricted. However the quality is excellent. Breakfast is good. Attention to detail appears to be missing. With customer service you have to step up near enough is not good enough. The grounds need a touch of TLC. Would I stay again. Yes, but in order to survive and flourish in today's hospitality industry they will need to up there game.
