I Think it's Changed for the WorseUsed this place for many years with excellent service. Back today to find it is Timpson's. Very off hand service. First thing the guy tried was to sell me a lifetime battery replacement for my watch. Last time I went (before covid) a replacement battery was a tenner. Today I was charged £17.95

Excellent service, very reasonable charges. The guy there couldn't do enough to help. I would recommend them very strong

At nearly twenty pounds to replace a £2.50 battery it is rather steep.

My Mrs took a watch in for me today for a battery I have already had one done in timpsons and they garenteed the lifetime renewal so she asked about it to the small looking fella who served her he replied no we don't and no one does as watches only last 3 years max , I'm not sure what rubbish your buying pal but this is a 1200 pound watch his knowledge and customer service were horrendous he advised we shop around and come back when we can't find what we are looking for so we went to timpsons round the corner and they supplied the lifetime we asked for with no fuss for nearly the same price as his standard one I won't be using these people again and suggest they get better trained staff please feel free to reply with an apology
