The optician was friendly and informative, and gave my eyes a full and thorough examination, with clear recommendation of the necessary prescription for new glasses. I was fully satisfied with the treatment and advice I received.

Reception team are very welcoming, optometrist is the best in the world, fast service and reasonable prices I always get checked there and trust this practice.

I have been coming to Bayfields for years now and the service is always first class. Today I took my children for their first eye tests and I cannot rate the staff highly enough. The ladies on reception are polite, friendly and make you feel welcome with a drink and make you comfortable.The optometrist was was fantastic with the children and made the children feel really happy and comfortable as well as carrying out a first class test to myself and my wife, with explanations of what each stage of the test was looking for.The optician who helped my daughter choose her glasses and measure them up was brilliant and really genuinely cared, also making sure the glasses were measured correctly.I cannot rate Bayfields highly enough, a true personal service. I would highly recommend Bayfields to family and friends and anyone looking for an optician.Many thanks to you all.

I can find appointments such as doctors, dentists, hairdressers and opticians very stressful, but your staff made me feel at ease from beginning to end today. Both the hearing test and the eye test were carried out very professionally, along with real friendliness and kindness

Went there to get my eyes checked. Got NHS exemption but not the document. Confirmed by NHS that providing just the number works. During the first appointment, a really nice receptionist called me in. The exemption number had 1 digit missing so I had to cancel and call the NHS again. Took next week's appointment. Got the number right, had to cancel the events. Halfway to the clinic I called to confirm the number. It was picked up by probably a lady doctor, who immediately said its their strict policy" that they check exemption document contrary to what NHS and previous receptionist said. The doctor was very rude and insisted on me pay for it even though I had the exemption which I had shown them through NHS website. May be it was just a scam or a racist stunt pulled on the new folk.Besides

I've been to Bayfields a few times now, and always had excellent service. The people are polite, efficient and professional. The eye testing I've had is quick but thorough, and the technical details were explained to me clearly and carefully.Buying my glasses was also a good experience. A good range of products, and the staff explained the options and the prices very clearly. When the new glasses arrived I got an email and a text, and when I collected them the staff made absolutely sure that the glasses were correct and that I was happy with them. Excellent customer service.

The professionalism and the care given at Bayfields Headingley it’s always been outstanding, I needed an urgent check up as my vision was getting worse for minutes so I got an appointment straight away, got seen by the same Optometrist who saw me couple of years ago and performed a very thorough examination going through every single thing with me so I could understand what was being examined. The help given afterwards to chose my new pair of glasses and my other appointment to help me to get used with the contact lenses it’s just been perfect in all ways. Thank you team for a flawless service. My FACE A FACE are ace! ;)
