Gym Magic

Horribly busy reception/ waiting area with an equally horrible atmosphere. Chaotic and rude parents in a dog-eat-dog environment. Waiting area is too small to accomodate the amount of clients. I appreciate it is a business and has to make money, but very disinterested in informing patents of progress their child is making. Children coaching children is clearly a money saving ploy.

Our daughter went to this club for more than 12 months and when we said she will go to different clu the owner Very rude told us not to bring our 7 years old there anymore. So she will miss the Christmas show, and no refund given for the hours paid in advance and tickets bought for the Christmas show which our daughter is not wellcomed anymore. Nice way to treat a 7 year old.

GymMagic is a fantastic place to be! I started gymnastics at age 6 and now 10 years later I have been given so many opportunities thanks to GymMagic. I have been able to compete for the club and become a level 1 coach which was down to the amazing help offered by all the other coaches there, especially Sharon.There is a welcoming, friendly calming atmosphere with many coaches and young leaders who care so much and give young gymnasts opportunities that I have also been given.Not only does the gym club focus on their elite gymnasts but also the children who love the sport so much they are cartwheeling off the sofas at home.GymMagic is the place to be. I wouldn't be who I am today without the support of that club!!!!

Having recently moved to Leeds, my husband and I were eager to ensure that our 3-year-old child would be able to continue partaking in gymnastics activities, especially as they have thoroughly enjoyed doing so for over a year in our previous city of residence. Gym Magic appeared to be an obvious choice after hearing wonderful reviews about the club. However, we were left deeply disappointed by the manner in which our queries and potential membership was handled.First, we were challenged for not having an answering machine where staff could leave a message, in spite of acknowledging their missed calls and returning them as soon as we could. Then we were questioned whether we had in fact been misinformed by staff who on a previous occasion assured us that our child would indeed be given a place. Admittedly, we were disappointed as we had relinquished a place in another club based on this assurance, but we were far more dismayed that we were being doubted. When we expressed that we had been left feeling disconcerted by this, we were abruptly told that we were not suitable candidates for Gym Magic and the caller rudely hung up on us.As parents who have extensive experience of once partaking in and coaching for the Junior Olympics and professional National teams, we can honestly say that we are dumbfounded by the way we have been treated by Gym Magic. Unfortunately, in this instance, personal issues seem to have overshadowed the true meaning of sport - something which we are keen that clubs impart on our 3-year-old child. It's such a shame that Gym Magic has actively chosen not to uphold such values; at least on this occasion and on our behalf.

My child really liked the gym, however the owner is rather rude and erratic. I had a general query about my bill to which I was then escorted with my child to a room where I was asked why I am never happy. I had never complained or had any previous issues there so was thrown off by the question. It escalated all very unnecessarily and very inappropriately, when all I had done is ask why I had been charged more than expected and this was all done in front of my child who was getting upset. It turned out I hadn't gotten the email explaining the fee as this was sent just before we started and the email sent just prior to the increased bill included incorrect information so communication was very confusing and to be confronted in such a way when I asked about it was very unprofessional.The waiting room is also quite shabby and chaotic. I would avoid and find another club.

My daughter has attended here since she was 2 years old. She is now a confident 10 year old thanks to the help of the coaches and her team mates. She loves everything about Gym Magic and the friendships she has made over the years will stay with her forever.

Took my youngest here on a Friday morning for one of their free toddler sessions. After a little apprehensiveness from the child, he ended up having a great time.Jumping, bouncing, balancing and climbing - perfect to tire out a little tyke.It was a little hard to find in amongst the industrial estate (Google Maps wasn't the best on this occasion), and there isn't much in the way of parking, but for a free session it was great.

100% recommended for any parent considering gymnastics for their kids in Leeds. Our daughter has progressed up to the National group after moving from another Leeds club to get the best coaching available. Great work all at gym Magic !!!

I can strongly recommend this gymnastics club. Both my daughters are really happy and look forward to every session. My squad gymnast has come on massively, the facilities for this level are brilliant as are the coaches. my youngest loves the trampolining. There are so many different classes to suit your child. All the staff are friendly and extremely supportive of the children. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Keep up the amazing work Gym Magic x

My daughter had 3 sessions in recreational at Gym Magic and she thoroughly enjoyed every session! All staff were friendly and helpful and communication was great. Unfortunately due to personal circumstances we cannot attend anymore which I am gutted about! However the Manager Sharon dealt with things in a professional and warming manner. Would return in the future 10/10
