I’ve been going to Solanki’s for years. He’s a first class, traditional, quality old school barber. I wouldn’t let anyone else cut my hair. The banter’s also top!

Been going to Solanski's for ages. Always a friendly welcome and an excellent haircut. Really good at what he does but doesn't charge the earth. The cut is never rushed no matter how many are waiting. Would recommend to all bith old and young.

Reading the other reviews it would seem I'm relatively inexperienced as a customer... others have been with Mr. Solanki for ten, twenty, thirty years. I've been going for a mere four. However, when I first moved to Hanwell I tried many local barber services and Mr. Solanki was the only person who listened to what I actually wanted and did exactly what I asked for. As a result the last four years of haircuts have always been what I've asked for and this is rare. The cuts have been expertly done, crafted to a high professional level and at a reasonable price. If you're looking for someone to prance around, throw lotions everywhere and give you the haircut of their choice rather than yours then look somewhere else. If you want to find someone who has a satisfied customer back catalogue of 20-30 years filled with repeat visitors then go here.

Have been getting my hair cut here for 10 years. This is a proper, no nonsense men's barbers, with a friendly owner. Always a good haircut, customer service is excellent, and superb value compared with similar places nearby.

Mr Solanki offers an experience that is rare these days.. A careful, unhurried and skillfully done haircut in a calm and friendly atmosphere. He is a gentleman who makes his customers feel welcome while treating them professionally and being really careful to give them the cut they want. Prices are very reasonable, it's near the station and buses and easy to find. Do yourself a favour and try this once.

I've been coming to Solankis for years and years. It's a great barbers with a lovely owner who does good, honest haircuts at a reasonable rate. No frills, just a good haircut, and a good chat. Thoroughly recommended.
