Absolutely shocking! I had my first appointment at the beginning of the month but had to cancel due to my son being rushed to Alder Hey hospital in the early hours of the morning. I contacted the receptionist to apologise for not being able to come in that day due to my son being in hospital.. first of all she was so rude and wouldn’t even let me explain, gave me a lecture and said I should of left a message on their answer machine, didn’t know that was an option, but good news for others as they never seem to answer their phone anyway! She did rebook me an new appointment through gritted teeth..and I wished I’d not bothered going now. The dentist was so rude and the first thing he said was why have you cancelled 5 appointments.. I’ve never cancelled 5 appointments, they have cancelled numerous due to no staff or the dentist leaving!! Then my last two appointments we rearranged due to having covid and my son being in Alder Hey. He was so rude and unprofessional and made me feel so uncomfortable. Even hinting that they were excuse. His words were.. you should book when you know you can turn up! Like anyone will know if they get ill or have to take their child for an emergency operation!! Belittling patients is disgusting behaviour.. I wouldn’t let them check my dogs teeth if that’s how they deem acceptable to treat their patients!!Also to note I wasn’t even able to register for their NHS books till 2022, but I was on their system from 2021 as I had booked to see their private dentist, but due to them constantly cancelling I ended up paying private with another local surgery. So to be told I had my first appointment in 2021 goes to show that this practice has not a clue what they are doing!! Doesn’t surprise me as they have on occasions called my in laws by mixing our appointments up (assuming they just see the last name) even to call my mother in law up to ask why She/me has not been in for the appointment.. obviously booked under her name!! So again goes to show they have no idea what they are doing.. Also I get text reminders of any appointment I have with yourself, so I have proof to show how many appointments I’ve had. I’d look into who is making these appointments and putting the dater into your system. Also to note my sons appointment was booked under my father in laws name!! So if your booking appointments under other peoples names then no wonder people aren’t showing up for their appointments..Or your dater is incorrect! People don’t book appointments just to cancel or not show up.. unlike your surgery who has cancelled/ rebooked nearly every appointment my children have had.. even to call on the day to cancel due to no staff or illness…and considering this you would think they would be more understanding when their patients have to cancel, be it last minute due to Covid or your child being rushed into hospital!!

I honestly have no idea what just happened, I called up + was met w a grumpy receptionist who didn't give me any time to process or try understand what she'd said, I have no idea what happened + then she hung up! The website says you're taking new patients though? Completely inappropriate way to handle a disabled potential customer

First time for me to visit this dental practice. Such lovely staff from the dentist herself, to her assistant, and the receptionist. Very happy.

I rang up for some advice and to ask if it was possible to be seen. The receptionist was incredibly rude and even sighed when I asked her to explain something as I didn’t understand it. I understand dentists are under pressure but receptionist should not talk to patients, especially anxious ones, in that way.

I used to be a panicky patient. Very happy with Mike (Mihai) and the rest of the team though. I feel welcome, respected and at ease when there. Lovely dental nurses (including one in training). Can´t praise them enough.

dentists are fine and most of the staff are. There's one receptionist who always puts a smile on my face. Unfortunately I was unlucky today and had the other one. Couldn't care less, no empathy, loosing your front teeth does not count as an emergency. Thank you and good bye.UPDATE been to the hygienist and she was absolutely amazing!! Warm, friendly, relaxed and first class work! Really really impressed!

Trying to make contact with this practice is very difficult and after several emails I decided to leave work early to go in person and register my family and arrange check up appointments. However I haven't yet registered and after my encounter with the receptionist will definitely not be registering now. The receptionist was so unprofessional, rude and patronising women who has no customer service ability what so ever. I was so angry at her attitude and her complete lack of professionalism or regard for anyone's privacy. She should really consider another job away from the public.

Our children are registered here, but haven’t seen the dentist since I can remember! Initially because the surgery couldn’t hold a dentist down, so kept cancelling appointments. Then, since COVID, they just repeatedly cancel or postpone appointments by 3 months, even after we expressed concern with our sons teeth!! We’ve since registered with another practice, who have no problem seeing any of us.

Dr Mike is the best Dentist I have had brilliant

I highly recommend this dentist!Mike has been fantastic with me and very supportive as I've got completed dental needs...but nothing is any bother, Mike always goes above and beyond and I really appreciate his genuine advice! Fantastic practice and staff are fantastic too!! Keep up the good work, which I know you will.Thanks again Mike and teamRachel Evans
