Great looking building accessed from the footpath under the bridge. No Front of house staff. But will always try and help with canal related queries. You can purchase pump out cards from the floating cafe nearby.

In the middle of torrential rain and wind, it was a good idea of mine to pop under the bridge to get some relief from the rain at least…however the CRT staff clearly had other plans! They decided to all pop out for a smoke, causing the area to become polluted with their cigarettes, not even a slither of decorum amongst them.

Generally very helpful, though like all such organisations, focus and priorities can be surprising and unexpected. Box ticking abounds in the administration of boating, as perhaps it has to, however they do also undertake some useful and interesting ideas.

Great space....a bit windy but reasonable price. Well worth booking. Takes longer than you think to cruise to it though.We will certainly be back.
