Gym filthy, gym changing room filthy, sauna falling apart, no timer for 4 weeks now in men's sauna. No drainage in the wettest areas of the changing room, can see sewer bug larvae swimming around in the nasty puddles.Only 1 shower actually goes hot or cold, the other two have broken mixing valves and temp is all over the place.Only drinking fountain in the whole building is broken. Why is there not one inside each changing room? There are posters saying drink water in the sauna and posters saying you must be dressed when going out. They no longer sell water at the centre so if you forget to fill, good luck.Only good part is the pool and some of the staff, otherwise 1 star.

Multiple gym machines are broken at any given time and it takes months for them to be repaired, if at all. The leg press has been broken for probably 8 months, the chest press for 2 months. There's always a bunch of cardio machines that are broken. The selection of machines would be ok if they all actually worked. The changing rooms stink and there's a general dirtiness everywhere. The staff have always been fine and it's in a good location, but that's about it.

The staff members is the best thing about this establishment. Especially Roy the life guard. The machines in the free weights room honestly should be scrapped.Shout out to The Beautiful Sauna Ladies"Wednesday evening palate classes are my favourite."

Not a bad gym.Has some work that needs doing, a lick of paint, deep cleaning of the equipment but its got all that you need to put a decent workout together.

I have explained to the receptionist that is my first time and asked her for help and advice. She briefly explained and booked me in. When attending for a swim later on, I was kicked out by the lifeguard as this was a family session and I didn’t have any children…Gym is very dirty. Most of the equipment doesn’t work or is broken. The highlight was the Lady - spin instructor!Aww and the sale team is the biggest failure.

All areas are dirty, only 3 of the 8 treadmills are working right now + many other machinss are broken, changing rooms are always boiling and covered in water/grime so really unpleasant. Has all the basic offerings of a gym + pool but overall experience as someone who has been coming here for 2+ years is pretty terrible.

This is should not be called a leisure centre, for me. The men swimming changing room is full of filthy smell from urine in every time I go there. There are people working there sat chatting but the the changing room is always left uncleaned. My son stop going there is understandable. I feel sad in a sense that something is doable and simple but not being done. It looks like this centre belongs to council, I don’t think a private business should be run this way. Sad, very sad!

This gym is honestly tried, old and falling apart. Machines constantly out of order, also some that are running don't work properly, like the tradmills that won't incline. Place is also dirty and general overall tired feel. The thing that has topped it off is the water machine that has broken down.. No drinking facilities on site. The water from that machine also tastes really dirty, not sure if it's even clean.Another annoying thing is that this gym allows locals to bring family members free on certain days, so mums decide to bring along a clan of kids who hog the cardio machines. They quite clearly don't want to be there, and have no idea what the hell they are doing either. This shouldn't be allowed. The membership price is decent and you get two other gyms to use, but the one in Southwalk park doesn't have enough cardio machines, and the one by the water doesn't have enough weights. At least they are both a little more clean and decent though. The pool also is dirty and the smell of chlorine could knock you out.Guys you really need to consider doing a refurb and stop the free family days as it promotes a baby sitting service

Sauna is dirty, people cut their nails in there, spit in the shower, toilets are dirty broken and smelly. The pool is ok, sometimes seems really clean, other times you swim and see bits of dirt or hair or other things in the water. If you use Southwark free gym and swim, ok it’s free you can’t complain. But not worth one penny if you pay for it, dirty and people treat it dirty.
