We called Marvin after our whippet began to have problems with his leg when running. It got so bad that every time the dog ran he stumbled but was otherwise fine. Marvin visited us at home, he put the dog at ease, was thorough, professional and personable. I absolutely trusted him with our dog who can now run again - all thanks to Marvin.

Marvin is absolutely great. Our JoJo suffers from quite severe back leg problems, which we have been trying to find the best solution for with many different vets. Marvin was recommended to us by a great holistic vet who’s other clients had great successes with him. He came to see us at our home, and really took his time to assess JoJo and her legs. He put us in touch with a great surgeon who is experienced with the exact issue our dog has, and JoJo is already in recovery from her first surgery as we speak. Ever since we contacted Marvin, the whole process suddenly turned into smooth sailing. After the stressful and uncertain year we had regarding her legs, I can’t express my gratitude enough. Marvin has treated both my horses and my dog. When my mare was being incredibly aggressive and would not be touched by anyone except me and this was clearly only tolerated Marvin knew she was experiencing a flood hormones due to recently being weened from her foal. Some people told me to put her down as she was so aggressive. My mare is still with me and at 24 she is doing well. Highly recommend Marvin as his experience and knowledge is not just chiropractic. He is a vet with a kind and understanding manner with your animals and you!

We have used Dr. Marvin Firth for three of our dogs and cannot rate his expertise too highly. He really helped our old dog get her mobility back after major back surgery and had kept our other old dog moving freely as possible despite her arthritis. He is currently helping us with a puppy who was born with weak hind quarters. He has been proactive in seeking out alternative methods to help her get stronger and the progress to date has been fantastic.On top of that he is genuinely nice person and the dogs love him.

Marvin has done wonders with my dog who suffers from back pain. As a clinical animal behaviourist, I’m very picky choosing who can treat my dogs (and who I recommend!), especially when it comes to physical manipulation to a pet which can potentially be in pain. Having used Marvin’s services, I have no hesitation in fully recommending him. Not only was he highly professional during the process, but he was also incredibly gentle with my dogs and waited for my dogs to be 100% comfortable with him before treating them. Simply amazing!

Marvin is the best. Takes time and really gets to know the pet. He helped my golden retriever massively enjoy her last 3-4 years by giving her mobility and confirm. Each visit allowed time to witness the dog in their home showing off toys and just bring who they are. Marvin has been treating my labxspringer, Hector for over 3 years - Hector has severe arthritic changes in his front paws - not only does regular chiropractic and laser treatment help to keep him sound, Marvin provides excellent veterinary advice regarding drug therapies. Marvin is definitely one of Hector's best friends and is always greeted with enthusiasm.

Marvin was the Vet who accompanied our two Connemara ponies from Southampton to Mustique in the Caribbean on a two week sea voyage along with groom James. Marvin keep the horses comfortable and healthy throughout the entire journey at sea and also on the local island ferry. I would highly recommend him for any horse related work. He and I have remained friends and he's a very kind, gentle and sympathetic person. I am sure his work with dogs would be just as outstanding.
