I have used Curly Music a few times now for saxophone repairs, and they took wonderful care of my instruments. The repairs were perfect and have held up very well. I would be more than pleased to continue sending my instruments here for repair as I know they’ll receive great care. Also, they’re really nice people!

Very grateful to Peter for fixing my tenor ukulele! I popped in last week because one of my strings was buzzing and out of tune (thought a fret was wonky) and he filed down some frets and added a shim under the bridge, all for free! He was also very knowledgable in installing a button screw (to attach a strap) for me too. Would definitely recommend Curly Music for their generous service and expertise if you're in/around Liverpool :)

I think this is the longest standing music shop in Liverpool. I know I've been using it since it opened in Stanley St, in the 80's. Their neighbours that sold to the Beatles are long gone, sadly. This shop has expanded to provide for wind instruments and, with the combination of Protone music on the 1st floor, now covers instruments from the affordable to, VERY expensive gems. Support your local music store, I say, before they all vanish.

Curly’s isn’t just a fantastic shop, it’s a Liverpool institution. Pete is always a great guy to chat to for advice and guidance, even if you’re just picking up a plectrum. I’m currently enjoying recently purchased Fender hot rod valve amp, used but in absolutely impeccable condition!
