Cossington Park
This house is marvellous. It somehow manages to be cosy despite its size. I stayed here with some friends over a December weekend, and we all really enjoyed it.The bedrooms are very decently sized - some are enormous - and the bathrooms and heating are fully functional. The kitchen is well stocked in terms of cooking utensils, crockery, etc. and it has two dishwashers, which made cleaning up so much easier. The dining hall is impressive, and comfortably sat everyone for meals.

Words are not enough to describe the excellent vacation we had at Cossington park. Begining with the welcome kit to the well decorated rooms, great furnishing and amenities, everything was perfectly placed for a great vacation that awaited us. I remember how for the first time we made a bread. The backyard with apple and pear trees, the garden with flowers, everything about this place is simply superb and gives you an amazing holiday experience...sadly the two days of for us got over so soon. But the memory lingers on in our mind. I want to go back there for another vacation once I visit UK again...but this time I want to stay longer...Cossington park, you are the best holiday destination I visited. I am sure whoever stays there will agree too. Cheers...

We've stayed in Cossington Park a number of times now and it never fails to impress! Driving through the gates into the secluded car park, and then walking into the beautifully maintained grounds, you feel as if you entered some royal estate, and yet at the same time feel absolutely at home. The cottage itself is almost beyond words. It has enough space to house even the largest of families plus extra guests, and nobody will feel the need to fight for the best bedroom because each one is utterly remarkable and so full of character. The house is extremely well maintained, and is kept clean and tidy by the excellent staff team. The kids in our family love coming here because they never run out of places to explore. The house seems to go on and on, but they spent most of their time out in the expansive grounds playing on the croquet lawn, the badminton court, play area, table tennis room or just playing hide and seek in the orchard. We'all certainly be back at Cossington again soon to enjoy yet another relaxing, pleasant and fun stay!

Where do I begin with Cossington Park? I have stayed there twice now and on both occasions had such a great time! There are several features of Cossington Park that I simply love. First of all as you walk through the gate you'll be taken aback by the beauty of the grounds. Here we made some lovely memories playing croquet, bowls and badminton. It is also the perfect place to sit and relax. One of my favourite parts of my stay (as well as the children's) was to wander around exploring each and every room of the house. Each bedroom has its own charm so if you get last pick I promise you won't be disappointed! The rooms were spotless and I slept well as the bed was very comfortable. If you're into cooking you won't be disappointed. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you will need and the dining room where you eat makes you feel like royalty. It was also one of my favourite rooms of the house because of the endless amount of interesting books on the shelves. This is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed and if I could give it more than 5*s I would.

I have stayed at Cossington park with friends several times now. It is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of a hectic world. The house itself is warm, inviting, spacious and full of character. The garden behind the house is huge and beautiful and I love spending time there. Last year I spend two nights there with my family and they all loved it. I look forward to coming back again and again.

We booked the cottage for 22 people and had the worst weekend of our lives! The rooms were very dark with some having no lighting at all. The sheets were very dusty leaving us allFeeling very itchy- one of our children had even broken out into hives! The owners had given us the keys to the rooms apart from the key of one room. We had heard a lot of laughter from this room, footsteps, rattling doorknobs, and generally a sinister presence in the cottage- all experienced on several different occasions and by several different people. We suspect there is some kind of haunting in the mansion, and do not recommend anyone to stay. We have originally booked the cottage for 3 nights, but because of our experience, we left after 2! If you're into mingling with the unseen and evil forces, then go ahead booking this cottage by all means. If not, stay far far away!

We have stayed at Cossington Park at two occasions during the last ten years. Our last visit was in the summer of 2016.We find that Cossington Park is a very charming and relaxing place to stay. The rooms are individually furnished and very well kept. The garden is beautiful with lots of flowers, fruit trees and a big lawn for playing.A big thank you to the staff which are all very kind and helpful.

My family and I have visited Cossington Park twice now 10 years apart, last time this August. Cossington is a wonderful place - a bit magic to me. Since I first stayed there I have been thinking a lot about it - and been longing back. I really enjoy that the place has been continuously so carefully renovated and the rooms that are open to everyone visiting Cossington like the library with its comfortable furniture and all the interesting books to look in. Pooh's corner is also one of my favourites. I sense history walking through this amazing place. The Park surrounding the place is also special to me - much space for reflection under the huge trees or in the small meditative flower garden with small nice benches. I want to go back! We have recently stayed at Cossington Park for a major social event for friends and family - and are still very impressed by the perfect set-up. Individual, personal rooms with a sense for details and of very high quality including maintenance standard - one really feels at home. The beautiful garden during our stay flowers with wonderful yellow and orange tones - the lovely park trees and the view over the fields (there are red kites in the wood to the left). We'll be back"."

A stunning house and garden which is perfect for large family gatherings. It oozes charm and history yet has every modern convenience you need for a relaxing holiday. Our group of 16 (plus dogs) had a fantastic weekend there and plan to return. The furnishings, bathrooms and kitchen are all top quality along with lovely linen and comfy beds. There is even a range of games and equipment, not to mention just a few books! Lovely people to deal with and lovely welcome hampers to round it off. Would highly recommend.
