Clare Sheffield and her team have been excellent. We are a tenant and they have been very helpful whilst at the same time looking after the Landlord’s interests in a proper manner. I would certainly use them again either as a tenant or a landlord.

We had a really positive experience with Batchellor Monkhouse this summer, good communication, quick on email response, kind to us when things were tense (which you can’t avoid when dealing with solicitors and money) and consistent in terms of who we dealt with. Good personal service which meant we didn’t feel like “just another client”

I have sold twice through Batcheller Monkhouse and also bought my last house through them. I have also recommended them to at least four friends who were all more than satisfied with the service they received. I used to be a conveyancing solicitor so I am in a position to recognise good service. These people are highly professional and a pleasure to deal with. Also, rather importantly, they get excellent results. I couldn't want for more.

Batcheller Monkhouse
We bought through Batcheller Monkhouse nearly 30 years ago, and they've patiently given us un-pushy advice on many occasions as we considered selling. Now we've actually sold our complicated property, and cannot fault their negotiating skill and empathetic support throughout. They showed a deep understanding of what living in the country is about, and our only regret is that they cannot find our next house for us, many miles away.
