I would like to thank everyone at the hotel for making my visit a very enjoyable one. I have stayed at the Cumberland many times and look forward to returning in future. In particular I would like to thank Ali Mansour at the check in desk who was very helpful and provided detailed information about the hotel services. It is always very much appreciated when a true professional provides such a service. Thank you again and best wishes for the Holiday Season.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cumberland Hotel. The location is superb, conveniently situated near Marble Arch bus station and the metro. The receptionist “ ESMERALDAH” and concierge staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the room service was prompt and helpful.

We only used the restaurant and bar, so can't comment on rooms. But this was a great experience. Live music and events, cool rock n roll theme, friendly staff, and a serving robot are all to be found here! The food was well done but a bit pricey as expected.

This place has the feel of a Hard Rock Hotel for a reason – it recently was!The lobby is set up to feel casino-ish with a huge bar, surrounded by restaurant seating, in front of a huge stage. They often have shows going on that you can see and hear from the check in area.Max, at the front desk is one of the many friendly reception staff. He went out of his way to greet us and seemed genuinely eager to make our stay memorable with an upgrade to a nice room. Thanks Max!The rooms still have a guitar menu, a carry over feature from the old hotel brand. The menu is in your room and gives you a choice of different guitars that they will bring you.The rooms are very nicely finished, and the bed is very comfortable with quality linens and a good pillow selection.Bathroom amenities are full sized, non-disposable ones and none of those little mini-sized, wasteful ones.Based on how the hotel describes itself and the quality of our stay I will be offering a 5-star rating. I would recommend a stay here.

This is only the second time I have stayed at The Cumberland. My first impression when walking into the hotel is warm and inviting. There is a festive welcoming vibe that is infectious. The rooms are comfortable and clean but what I want to talk about is the staff. Even when hectic and busy they always have time to answer questions or offer suggestions or directions. They are really in tune with a guests needs. They really care that their guests have a great experience. One in particular, Nasim, went out of her way to accommodate a request that made my stay fabulous. Thank you so much for your help!!!!

This hotel is wonderful! Great central location, and the staff was great. The concierge, Joe, gave us great suggestions for places to eat, and Fara, one of the front desk clerks, helped us greatly when we had a problem with a lost reservation. Upgraded our room and gave us free drink tickets. There's live music every night and a fun drag brunch on Sundays. If i ever make it back to London, I will definitely stay here.

The only good thing in this hotel is the location.- classic room is very very small and old furniture- the house keeping not very clean- the smell is very bad (we were in 5th floor)- bad room service (they don’t answer or try to help you)- during our stay there was a false alarm no body kept us updated or told us what’s going on we got out of the hotel at 4:00 am then we went back. They didn’t apologize of that or even explained.I hope they improve their services and take care of their guestsA funny thing, we asked for ice they told us there is a machine turned out the machine is out of service, when we informed them they replied you can to another floor :)

Very pleasantly surprised! Booked the cumberland due to its great location next to Hyde Park and marble arch tube station. On arrival at the hotel, I discovered that this was the old Hard Rock Hotel and it had much more going on that I originally thought.Bar/reception area was vast and colourful. Check in was very smooth and the service was excellent. I was given a 50% off food voucher which was a nice touch.Room was perfect for what I needed, comfy bed, desk area to work, small fridge , great bathroom with digital shower which was cool.Travelling for business solo, for ease, I decided to take advantage of the voucher I was given and eat at the hotel restaurant. Little did I know there was live music and acts performing whilst you eat which mad and normally boring dinner for one, very entertaining. Vibe was excellent and could not fault the service.Sports bar area to was great to watch some of the football!Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting central London.

My stay at the Cumberland Hotel in London was extremely disappointing. From the moment I arrived, the check-in experience was the worst I've ever encountered. To make matters worse, they charged me an additional £100 for an upgrade to a room that turned out to be even worse than the one I originally booked. We had to change rooms the next day, only to find that they had joined the beds incorrectly, leaving us with an uncomfortable sleeping arrangement. On top of that, I decided to use the hotel's laundry service and paid for the express option. However, my laundry didn't arrive until two days later, and to my surprise, a pair of socks was missing. It's unacceptable to pay for a service and not have it delivered on time, let alone have items go missing. The breakfast experience was equally dreadful. I can't even find the words to describe how terrible it was. I felt obligated to eat there since there were no other viable options, but the quality of the food was subpar, to say the least. The staff at the reception seemed completely clueless about their own hotel's operations. Their lack of knowledge and professionalism was evident throughout my entire stay. It was clear that they had no idea what they were doing, and their customer service skills were non-existent. I expected much better from a hotel of this caliber. To add insult to injury, during checkout, I requested that my invoice be sent to me via email. However, it took them two days to send it, and when I finally received it, the invoice was empty. It's frustrating to deal with such incompetence, especially when it comes to something as basic as providing a correct invoice. The only positive aspect of the Cumberland Hotel is its location, which is conveniently situated near all the major attractions and areas of interest. However, this one redeeming factor doesn't make up for the multitude of problems I encountered during my stay.Overall, my experience at the Cumberland Hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. The lack of customer service, combined with the numerous issues I faced, left me extremely dissatisfied. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel if you value a pleasant and hassle-free experience.
