Appalling experience at Nars in Selfridges Birmingham - the Manager - Anthea - caucasian woman - discriminated me! I normally ever write reviews ! Take your money elsewhere to a brand who will respect you! The manager Anthea “whispered” to another staff member who was with another customer to to check if i stole a SECOND hand concealer? I came into the store, as a make up artist, intention spending over £500 of stock and searching for the right colours, as was other customers. The other staff asked me, which I thought she wanted the colour “where’s the other concealer you used” and was like yes, it’s right here (back in it’s correct place) then put it by her with no intention of using it… but to indirectly accuse me? Whereas they’re was other customers also testing and using items and I even spoke to staff who asked me when she asked if I needed help. Straight discrimination, especially as a make artist or anyone, coming in to test the concealer to match your colour and being indirectly accused of stealing a “not for sale”, second hand concealer - it’s disgusting and shameful. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and tried to bring shame to me with your false accusations. They’ve ruined the Nars experience for me, as a make up artist who purchases minimum £500 worth of stock, due to this I won’t be anymore. As an anxiety suffer, this whole situation has heightened my anxiety massively. Highly upsetting of being tried to brought to shame of such an act. How the situation was orchestrated was ill mannered and highly inappropriately. This isn’t what I expect from Nars.Accusing of stealing a second concealer, with such discrimination accusations of stealing. This has left me in a emotional distress and believe should be highlighted for others. I have carried a formal compliant over formally, as reviewing precious reviews I can see I’m not the only one who has had a awful experience at the store.

Great customer service, but there's this guy named Dylan at NARS stand in Selfriges Birmingham, his customer service is exceptional. Although he's a NARS rep, he'll give you a non-bias recommendation most suited to your makeup needs.

Incredibly rude customer service. I never usually write reviews but I feel I had to in this case because the experience was just so, so poor. Asked for assistance and was met with rolled eyes, staff clearly did not want to help (a group of three women at the till - 15th July Saturday, early afternoon time). This is especially compared to every other makeup brand I visited at Selfridges (I HIGHLY recommend Armani, superb customer experience!)The staff were laughing, rolling eyes, and scoffing to one another and it was obvious that they felt forced" to help me. How did I know this? They were literally talking about all this IN FRONT of me and trying to convince each other to help me because none of them wanted to bother lol. I have no idea why they thought I couldn't hear them

Really rude staff, both the POC male and female ignored me despite seeing me waiting. Both of them asked people who had arrived at the counter AFTER me if they needed assistance but refused to even make eye contact with me.

Love Nars but struggling with the lack of stock / testers or customer service. If i'm told one more time to try on line?I'm sick of making expensive mistakes, time to find a brand who's interested, i think.

Lady with blonde hair is very dismissive. I waited patiently to be seen to be colour matched for a new foundation, I have asked her politely if she could colour match me, she put a bit of foundation on my hand and walked away. I have worked in retail myself previously and was left shocked by this type of customer service.

I Bought online HIGH-PIGMENT LONGWEAR EYELINER MAMBO. it requires sharpening every time It is used. And the “lead” has fallen out of the wood heath.Very poor quality for the price of £21. I've bought 3 now and each 1 has the same problem. So disappointing @Nars.

Lady with blond hair purposefully bypassed my partner when she approached and decided to serve someone else after she had been waiting for assistance. Very rude and awful staff behaviour - don't visit unless you like experiencing discrimination and woeful customer service by overpaid staff members

Same experience as others, dismissive and rude staff, asked for a colour match and the colour match was simply putting it on my hand and walking away. Saw the staff laughing as I was walking away after I purchased, overall a really negative experience, this branch is extremely brand damaging to nars.
