Wonderful Grayson Perry exhibition of tapestries at the moment. Free to view. The museum itself has such a laid-back vibe. They have very comprehensive curated main hall that takes you through the ages. A lovely cafe, play space for the kids and various other spaces for smaller exhibitions or events. The gift shop area is cute and always has amazing cards.Personally, it's just the relaxed nature of the space that makes it a place I love to visit or pop into.

Was thrilled to discover the Grayson Perry exhibit aligned with my visit to the area. Was fantastic seeing these works in person.Great a look around the remaining exhibits and very impressed with the inclusion of Greek and Roman artifacts as a Classics undergrad.

Great little museum in the heart of Lincoln. Good displays of local history and a great Grayson Perry tapestry exhibition on at the moment - recommended. Go and see it while you can - the guide in there was knowledgeable and explained each of the tapestries...

Great free museum with a snap shot of Lincolnshire life from Dinosaurs the Neolithic Roman to medieval. Easy visit with a group and interactive for children. Takes about an hour and a great addition to your day in Lincoln.

Very interesting, the board game was easy to play but very fun and challenging. I'm making a copy of my own to play against my wife and friends.

Fantastic free to enter museum, located in the middle of the city just down from the cathedral. Beautiful, open and spacious building containing multiple rooms with various installations, artist's work and historical pieces. The main room is filled with all kinds of artifacts and tells the story of Lincolnshire throughout the ages, lots to read and look at. A brilliant and interesting way to find out more about the county. Highly recommended.

Really well designed modern exhibition space, fully accessible for wheelchairs and scooters. Fascinating and well displayed archaeological items with clear contextual explanation. Separate Usher gallery displays paintings, ceramics and sculpture with Grayson Perry, L.S. Lowry, Turner, Watts etc. represented. Lovely staff.

22/5/22Collection: very interesting building with temporary exhibits and a very fascinating archaeology display with interesting curios and displays about how they research this. Kid friendly activities also present with a playroom. Cafe is present too but the lunch options are confined to the soup of the day (apparently kitchen closed due to covid).Usher Gallery: interesting display of art, antiques, clocks & ceramics. Interesting things on display include a long case clock with its face removed to show a wooden mechanism & a mouldy picnic on display to illustrate increasing food demand!
