My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night in September because we wanted to see the Illumations. We arrived 3 hours early and the room was ready and the management said we would be allowed in - no problem at all. The rooms were cheap and good for the price we paid. It was minutes walk away from all the main attractions. The beds were comfortable and bedding was fresh. Management were wonderful and very welcoming - nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a slight issue with one of the sockets in the room but we told management and it was rectified straight away. The place was clean and tidy and in a location where there were no street noise and even though we were there with a hen do we didn't hear a thing. Management spoke to us the following morning and apologised to us if we were disturbed by the hen do. 10/10 would go there again.

Certainly DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. No matter how cheap the hotel we did not and should not of been coming home with bite marks all over our body from the bed bugs. The rooms smelt damp the bedding was vile the pillows had black marks on them bed sheets not clean. The bathrooms well I wouldn't bath a dog there. And the toilets wow..... probably catch an std of the seat!! The hotel needs closing down and a good referb. I defo wouldn't recommend you to go on the channel 4 show 4 in a bed you would be ripped to shreads

We're parent carers to 4 young children. 2 with learning difficulties so in September we booked a family room with B&B 1 month in advance via telephone for the half term illuminations with 2 adults, 3 children ages between 3 months to 6yr old sharing. Day 1, we got to the guest house in plenty of time by coach to be greeted by the landlords who wasn't welcoming or accommodating and didn't inform us of the breakfast times or fire exits upon our arrival (No literature was placed in our room/door). My son got told off for playing afew notes on the organ in the bar lounge which was abit uncalled for. I asked politely for help with our suitcase due to been given the top level (Room 10) but this was to much of a request. We got to the room it was dirty and attempts were made to cover up damp on the ceiling. We just about got settled into the room when the landlady knocked stating we only booked for 2 nights instead of 6 due to being overbooked which became an awkward situation to deal with even though they had our contact details... (this was meant to be our family holiday) but a 3rd party stepped in and rectified the error. Day 2, My partner asked for the breakfast times but the landlords denied us breakfast stating it wasn't included. By now alarm bells were starting to ring so i had a word with the landlord who took the booking and reminded them another booking error had been made and breakfast was ment to be included that is what we agreed and paid for as I've got 2 children that were hungry upstairs but i was faced with another hostile situation and was told the breakfast wouldn't be honoured and they was bluntly asking us to leave so i backed down even though i the customer was in the right so i agree to buy my kids cereal if they supplied the bowls to keep the peace this was parshentley agreed. When i went to take our rubbish downstairs i was confronted by the landlord again stating he had changed his mind and we should leave immediately giving us a refund i reminded them it was half term so mostly all the guesthouses would be full at this stage in the week and they would be throwing 2 children under 2 and a 6yr old out on the street but neither cared or showed no compassion. In the 21 years I've been coming to Blackpool with my family we've NEVER been treated so harshly or badly. We got thrown out by landlords who couldn't do there job right and blamed us the holiday makers for there mistakes as a parting shot they even accused us for trying to swindle them as we left quietly this accusation went against our christian values. In desperation with 3 young children in tow we finally tracked down a rather nice guest house (review to follow). The moral to our experience is IF YOU WANT A GOOD TIME... DONT STAY WITH THIS GUESTHOUSE!!!

Well where to start, disappointed it states on website tea/coffee facilities there wasn't any in the room, it said parking ended up paying for the parking in next street, there wasn't a kitchen so breakfast wasn't available, room was dirty a cracked sink and when u looked out window the rubbish was terrible surprise not anything running around, shower and toilet down the hall which didn't mind but when I went in shower had a burn on my back couldn't turn the temperature down, went to toilet next morning no toilet roll tried to find someone to ask but no one around so had to wait till I went in the arcade to use loo, wouldn't recommend it to anyone which is a shame really cus location was gud, it was my only weekend off from work and was ruined wish I cud have got my money back

I booked a mini break here as a treat for my 81 year old mum, after a few days they took £108 from my card which I didn't mind. Unfortunately a couple of weeks later I had to cancel as tests proved that my mother has liver cancer and has to have an operation and chemotherapy. I contacted the hotel to explain the situation and ask if it was possible to have a refund as being a disabled single mum with a sick mum to care for, money is tight. I got a text to say the boss had been asked and refused, I asked for a number for the boss and was told that he lived abroad and they didn't have a phone number, they contacted him through Facebook. Despite sending a couple more texts, I was ignored. I'm very disappointed with the this hotel and the treatment I've received. £108 Is probably a trivial amount to a Blackpool hotel, who have probably re let the room and been paid for it, but to me it is nearly a months travelling expenses to visit my mum. This is making an old lady who is seriously I'll, even more stressed. The crooked retreat was recommended to me by a friend who said the people who ran it were lovely. I really feel disheartened by their attitude. How can anyone treat an old lady with cancer this way?
