It was a great place for iced coffee. The menu looked great and I'd definitely like to go back to try. There was loads of space in there.

This was the best breakfast I can remember having in a cafe. Creative, tasty, and fresh. Free range eggs, gorgeous, rustic flat bread and beautiful presentation. Would definitely recommend for veggies. Try the Turkish eggs and huevos rancheros. The staff are lovely too. Really upbeat and friendly.

I can safely say that this cafe is one of the best, if not the best cafe in Newcastle. It brews many types of coffee more than any cafe in Newcastle. I got a cold brew, which was very good, recommended. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very calm and quiet with nice decorations and plants. I really recommend this cafe if you're passing by Newcastle or if you live here.

Perfect little brunch spot near the centre of Town, not too busy but the food is absolutely incredible.Very on trend, industrial interior with a cute coffee bar and lots of greenery

Without doubt the best coffee in Newcastle and on par if not better than anywhere else you could wish to go nationwide. Service was exceptional from the welcome to the batista service at the brew bar.

The Turkish eggs were poached to perfection. The eggs used were top notch. Only improvement would be some more Arabic bread. 7/10Shakshuka - Fried Ciabatta - with 0ne (cut in half) merguez added for £4.50 extra. A total miss. The merguez tasted cheap. We could not find any wild mushrooms in the mix. Overly salted. 2/10. Service is quite good.

Great atmosphere, good food, amazing strong coffee, but since its move to Carliol Square years ago, food always feels 10% overpriced. The rebranding from Flatcaps is great.

Very cute and niche place. Love their interior design and the vibe. Only have ordered tea here and it was authentic. Don’t know how the food is, may order food some next time and come back to give more detailed reviews.

Not going to lie, it was extremely difficult to find the cafe. Went through a few streets that Google maps said, but hard to find. Once we got there it was quite obvious if you went from another side, which is a fault of our own due to not going to Newcastle often.I had a nitro cold brew, as I've looked everywhere in the North East for a cafe that sold it, and it was amazing.I came with my grandad and he got a mocha and loved that too.I was a bit thrown off originally, there was someone who booked us for seats like a restaurant, which took me by surprise. I did originally only come for some coffee and thought it was a takeout kinda cafe. The atmosphere was amazing. Absolutely amazing. All of the preparation areas were open so you could see baristas and chefs preparing the drinks and food, as well as it just being a beautiful cafe.
