Absolutely shocking place had homeless alcoholics in the next room the place was truly disgusting and dirty ..... was so glad they don't serve food tbh

I have been here before with family afew years back and we didn't have any complaints then, so I booked again for me and my eldest so we could have some much needed mum and son time. We were greeted so kindly and told about the general rules and check out time etc.. we booked a standard room which was perfect for what we needed tv bed . Little chocolate on each pillow. Kettle tea coffee all that and a sink. Towels provided also which were an added extra as I packed my own thinking there wouldn't be any. Our phone charger broke as we arrived and we were kindly lent a charger . I will be booking here again in the near future for my next mummy son day with one of my other boys. If your snobby and want perfection for a good price then you won't agree with my review but great price and great service. The best sleep iv had in a long time . A little heater incase we felt cold at all also in the room. We have all together had 4 different rooms here and don't think iv disliked any of them. I give a big thanks to the owner .

Lovely welcome.hosts were really friendly. Cant fault that. Very intoxicated male host. But still friendly,However the stay wasn't very nice. The curtains were a duvet cover cut up the middle. The lock on the door just opened with a push (no keys needed even when locked") so we pushed the bed against the door to sleep

Friendly couple. Clean facilities and comfortable bed/linen. No frills as you'd reasonably expect for a great price. Recommended.

Iv never been somewhere so disgusting in all of my life. But great for a drug den. Welcome of cannabis smell and nub ends all over the floor. From the front to the room was like a hostel. This place needs shutting down not a revamp. The beds were full of genital hairs and dirty bedding. Flooring was something else. Cold, damp and the hygiene was so bad. Booked a family room and the locks on the room had been smashed in. The children was expected to sleep on their on in a separate apartment (like that would happen as there 1 and 3!) Never have I ever felt so worried for Our children's lives! We ran out that apparent so quick and found somewhere else to sleep. Honestly if you value yours and your children's loves DO NOT STAY HERE

My daughter and freind booked for the illumination switch on. I met up after they checked in and my 8 year old grandson begged to sleep on the floor in our bb which was excellent. I so wish i had . The room wasnt ensuite which was advertised, my daughter yold sorry no towels cause they are all dirty, room filthy , and they got back to the owners physically fighting with each other after arguing over a drug pick up which happened in front of 3 young children . STAY AWAY !!

This hotel needs shutting down bedbugs dirty sheets with pee stains on pubic hair dirty mattress no heating lock on room 10 was unsafe only had to push it opened without out a key blood stains the owners are to drunk to care we was meant to stay there we had to find some where else to stay there was only in there for an hour it was that bad kids was scared we found somewhere else to do holiday cost us double cus being refused a refund

Sorry about late reply I've only just got over at staying at the house of horrors..we stayed in October last year the outside of the hotel wasnt welcoming rubbish everywhere the Patio area was like a dumping ground no signs to explain on how to enter the property. Once the guy opened the door after waiting 20mins you could see all the dust on the floor/stair carpet it was old and very dated you could smell the damp. When we was shown to are room it was like a cold box nets didn't fit the windows no light cover, the kettle was directly under the tv the kettle smelt foisty the sink stuck of sewers the bed felt damp when ya laid in it. The shower room wasnt the best either it was awful.. deffo will not be staying again it needs a complete revamp the owner needs to spend moneyTo make it homely not some kind of hostel

My mum stayed here this past weekend and I’m writing this review on her behalf.She showed me the pictures of the room she was staying in and it was absolutely disgusting! The bathroom was covered in mould and everything was stained. The bedroom was atrocious with dirty bedding and the carpets were filthy. She said the whole place stunk of weed, it was loud, and she didn’t feel safe. The only reason she stayed there was because no where else was available.Honestly I’m amazed she managed to stay the weekend. She’s have been better off in a tent on the beach, it would have been cleaner.
