Great service from Paul, he installed a stove, hearth and stone surround for us. Very pleased with the standard of work, highly recommended.

Initially contacted Firebug for a broken flue liner but further investigation found it was incorrectly installed and was actually a fire hazard. Paul helped us get a new stove that conformed to local smoke restrictions at a great rate and was able to install with a new flue liner. Paul is really knowledgeable and has a great attention to detail. The installation looks perfect and we feel comfortable in the knowledge that everything has been done to a high standard and follows the regs. All done for a really reasonable price and quick timeline. If you’re looking for someone to install a stove I’d highly recommend Firebug!

We wanted a large wood burner fitted in our dining room, one that was big enough to provide a decent amount of hot water to the heating system as well as to heat the room. The size required meant that we had to increase the hearth size to meet the requirements. Paul made significant plans as the building is listed 2* and worked out that there was already an extended hearth and it just needed building up. We brick matched and Paul then laid a channel for the pipe work and built the new hearth matching carefully the brick pattern and even the mortar colour! Paul lined the chimney and installed the woodburner and it looks absolutely fantastic. The area was spotless when he left and even helped us move all the furniture back.Can't say enough about his diligence and work ethic. Well priced, worked hard to get it done on our timeline and was flexible throughout. The finished product is amazing. Thanks Paul.
