The Health Farm

Wonderful atmosphere with delicious food, an excellent selection of fine wines and fantastic company. Would highly recommend for a weekend away, be sure to book in advance for this exclusive experience!

We arrived at the health farm, dull and weary pilgrims of the modern week, but after a mere 24 hours within its warm brick walls, I can certainly say we departed as transformed individuals! I was aware of it’s reputation for excellence, but the Health Farm is the kind of place that satisfies cravings you didn’t even know you had! We took up some of the many activities on offer, such as penmanship lessons, late-night dancing, and pre-breakfast barefoot tennis (part of the personalised ‘detox’ package which also included a glorious full English breakfast). Our hosts could not have been more wonderful and caring… the food and drink was exceptional and well planned, down to the order of the wines. As confirmed by other reviewers, the wine list (and our hosts’ impressive knowledge) is to be especially noted. In short, this was an experience to be remembered! Make sure you ask for a tour of the charming antique motor vehicle workshop before you leave! The Health Farm also features the smallest door in Europe, should you be interested in medieval architecture.

Always a whale of a time at the Health Farm, unlimited drinks and a home cooked meal, twinned with unprecedented banter makes for an 11/10 experience! Friendly dog included!

Nothing less than the perfect experience. Incredible homemade breakfast and dinner made fresh. Glorious company and copious amount of alcohol - all of which exceeded expectations.10/10 would recommend for anyone who wants good chat and amazing food.

I came, I saw, I was conquered. My god what a wonderful time! I came for lunch and stayed for 5 days. The service was incomparable, I’ve been fed and watered. I have been reinvigorated with the comfort of the wide open fire. I had the most beautiful escape. I’ll be returning if we are allowed! Fingers crossed!

Had an absolutely fantastic evening at the summer soire! Amazing food, wine and company! Massive complements to Derrick and Diana definitely the hosts with the most!!!!! A point to note this is very much a private members club we are just so glad we made the list!!!

A HIDDEN GEM! The Health Farm is the ultimate place to escape to. The most adorable house is set amongst quaint paddocks and barns; the peace of the countryside, teamed with some chatty chickens and a simply WONDERFUL dog makes for a fabulous getaway. It is not just he setting that makes The Health Farm so great, but the hospitality, food, wine and whole package is just exquisite. Be sure to book early to avoid disappoint, everyone should experience at least once in their life. Hope to visit many times in the future.

Delightful. A must visit for those with a hankering for fresh air ablutions with bovine company. A vine jacket is to be recommended in winter, unless you keep the fire banked nicely. Just watch out for the Silver Ghost.
