The Groom Room Blackpool Warbreck

It was my first time using the groom room. I took my new poodle puppy for a puppy groom and was really nervous leaving her. The staff were very friendly and ensured I checked my pets at home account for any vouchers I could use - I was pleasantly surprised when they announced I had one for 50% off! I was told a rough time I could collect and the groom process was explained to me. I was given the direct telephone number and told to call anytime to check on her. The staff then called me when she was ready for pick up and I went to collect her. The staff explained how she’d reacted to different elements of the grooming process and what they had done. She looked absolutely adorable in her little bandana and smelt like a new car! They gave her a treat for being a good girl and she seemed very comfortable with the staff. Will absolutely make this a monthly ritual for my puppy. Thank you Groom Room Warbreck! :)

Took my dog here for a full groom as I have been doing for the last 3 1/2 years. Utterly disappointed this time though and will not be returning ever again.Not sure if we got the poor service just because it was the first week back after Christmas or if it was because we had the last appointment of the day.The fur on one of my dog’s legs has been cut considerably shorter than the other three. When I raised this with the staff they said it was because that leg was matted. Surely to goodness then all four legs, whether matted or not, should have been cut to the same shorter length.Apparently the only way to rectify this was to book him in and pay again for another full groom. I don’t think so - Completely unprofessional, sending a dog away looking a complete mess and also complete lack of customer care.

Took my bichion friese Lucy in on the off chance they could cut her nails. Was told you need an appointment but they squeezed her in. Very happy as her nails really needed cutting. Lovely staff in groom room ..they really love your pet and take care of them.

Groom room called to say their groomer was ill and they would have to re arrange to the next day. The options where 10am the following day or it would have to be moved on weeks further. I agreed on the 10am although it was short notice and had appointments in my diary. I went to drop the dog off at 9.20am as I needed to get to my appointment and they said I would have to pay £5.00 to drop her of early. Although it was their cancelation that caused me to re arrange they would not wavier the £5.00 early dropping off charge. I asked them to be considerate given the fact that my appointment was cancelled the night before but the very rude lady on reception kept saying it was 'company policy'.I must admit, I'm not sure why I even booked her in the first place!! I went in 2 months ago to book in my fathers dog for a groom I was kept waiting 5-6 minutes while the girl on reception had a chat with her friend around plans for the weekend. She could see I was standing there with a dog waiting to get booked in but she continued to discuss which bars in town they would go to on the Saturday night completely blanking me until they had made their plan. I found that very rude so I guess its my own fault going back to them and giving them the benefit of the doubt! Customer service here is terrible. I would have given them no stars but google only allowed me to start at one.

First time visit with our 5 month old German Shepherd JACKSON. Greeted by Amy who checked us in , we left feeling he was in confident hands. Returned later to be met by a beautiful looking boy all washed groomed and smelling sweet. Fantastic experience along with additional advice on leads and harnesses. thank you Amy you are a credit to the groom room. Looking forward to our next visit , also loved the photos you took.

Not happy with what they done with my angel. Cut was not even all over I'm never taking her backAnd was charged 57poundWhat a waste of time and money

When I arrived back my dog was still being clipped she was panicking because they had a hard to short mussel cover on her long mussel strapped tight against her face. Pic is previous groomer.

Not sure what has happened to this groomers lately but after having my 2nd appointment cancelled in 2 weeks with one hour notice it's a loss of a customer.

Booked my dogs first groom and had to wait over 6 weeks for availability and when I turned up they had no recollection of my appointment. The boy behind the desk had stated it’s a known issue for bookings to go missing and management aren’t doing anything about it. Even though had my confirmation email in hand they did nothing to accommodate.
