Honestly had the worst experiences buying a puppy and within 3 days he was very ill, thank god for these vets not only were they kind and compassionate but I had no money at the time and they booked me appointment the vet was very thorough and he was taken to hospital the reception staff were helpful and supportive, and they did everything to save our little puppy unfortunately he didn’t make it but there care was outstanding and the support and big beautiful hearts were there for me every step of the way I was able to clear the bill and after all the warmest loving souls I could never choose another vet!!! This vet is 100% for the animals care and this shine through like a massive ball of sun shine!!!! God bless you I couldn’t of gone through this without you !!!

They are always extremely compassionate and sympathetic when you have to say goodbye to one of your pets. No fuss about the bill, it is sent a few days afterwards.

I've been taking my pets here for years. Always so kind and helpful and provide excellent care for all pets they see. I've taken my dog, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and even a gerbil here, and all have received top quality care

Awful. Charged me for treatment my cat did not need and told me she would die within 48 hours. Got a second opinion from another vet who was super positive and advised just a change of diet. My cat is still alive 2 years later. Unfortunately Mercer and Hughes like to scare people and get them to pay for treatment that may not be needed. Over £600 they charged me and all my cat needed was a change of diet. Please don't go here.

Our dear dog was taken great care of by the vet and all staff could not have been more helpful. As a result she is improving by the day.

Have always received lovely care from receptionists, nurses and vets

All vets and nurses that I have seen have been good. Had a disagreement regarding communication once, that did get resolved after escalation. Only emergency cover outside office hours, is about 40 min drive away.

This has been our vet since we bought our dog Prince as a puppy and sadly had to make the decision to put him to sleep 12 years later . During all these years they have been professional and very kind and warm to Prince's needs and made the final parting as smooth and compassionate for him and us, which was the most difficult painful decision to make. I can't thank them enough and also for their heartwarming bereavement card we received thereafter. Very nice and genuine service. Thank you.

Local vet whom we have used for 11 years, located in Stansted. Good quality service, easy parking. During Covid, arrive for your appointment , park then phone and someone will come out to collect your pet. In some ways better than before Covid as you don't have the waiting room establishing territory" altercations. Pay over the phone again a good idea as this avoids contact. Would recommend."
