I bought a VW from Holcombes and it developed a strange noise a few months later, when turning left. I phoned and immediately John offered to take a look on the same day. During his lunchtime, he found the small problem and fixed it, there and then. Fantastic service and attitude. I recommend Holcombes to anyone looking for a car and who appreciates excellent service.

Excellent service from John. After viewing my car and pointing out a few potential issues before purchase, John agreed to get these fixed before collection. These repairs were more costly than John expected but we're still done to a great standard. 2 months after purchase another fairly significant problem arose but this was rectified by Holcombe's under warranty with nothing but kindness and understanding. I need to point out these problems were NOT the fault of Holcombe's but were unforeseeable issues that could happen any time. John at Holcombe's will be my first call when the time comes to get a new car.

A great experience from start to finish. John was fantastic to deal with - knowledgeable, flexible and no pressure. You get a real sense of the pride he takes in each and every vehicle he sells, each one is thoroughly tested, checked and prepared to his exacting standards....and his standards are high....you can tell that from the cleanliness of the garage (and even the toilet!). Overall this was the best experience we have ever had when buying a car from a garage and I cannot rate Holcombes highly enough. Thanks for the flowers!

I am so so lucky to have this business on my doorstep. My classic Mini was bought from new 17 years ago and whilst it's still my first love I felt the need to buy a MINI.The opportunity came last February when I noticed a very tidy Cooper on the forecourt. I took it out for a drive and decided to buy it (I can be impulsive at times).The after sales service is second to none. Five months after the purchase John dropped tools and came to my rescue when I had a problem.Fast forward to October. I spotted a very nice John Cooper Works Mini Cooper S Checkmate on the forecourt so decided to trade in the Cooper bought in Feb. To illustrate how much I value this business I bought the car without any inspection or test drive. I am 100% confident that my dealing with Holcombes is the best decision I made and I would have no hesitation in recommending this business to anyone contemplating buying a used car.

I bought a car from Holcombes a few weeks ago. The beautiful fresh flowers waiting in the car for us is a reflection of the level of care and respect John has for his customers. The purchase and part exchange experience was great. Unfortunately, the car we bought developed a problem, however we could not have been happier with the service from John. It was dealt with promptly and more than satisfactorily.
