Free Walking Tour Harrogate

I had a Saturday tour with Harry the amazing guide. Since it was Saturday I had the privilege of joining both part 1 that left at 12 pm (historical site seeing) and part 2 at 13:30 (important people and unique stories). I really enjoyed Harry’s explanations and route we had. The tours are completely FREE but Harry was really knowledgeable and nice, he remembered the participants names and was genuinely interested in their stories.If you happen to come to Harrogate I really recommend joining his tours, you can see most of Harrogate and the walk is easygoing.

Did the tour today and it was brilliant. Harry is extremely knowledgeable of Harrogate and it was lovely to finish a weekend that I had been up for a hen do, with understanding more about this love town. Thanks Harry for taking us round!

If you do one thing in Harrogate, make sure you do this tour. You will not be disappointed.Harry is very engaging ang makes you want to listen to all the stories. He is witty, humorous and informative. The walking is not strenuous so most people will be well able for it.

Absolutely amazing tour with Harry. He is so personable, knowledgeable and a real character and gent. He remembered the names of all the people on the tour (around 30) and got folks involved. Highly recommended.

A friend & I along with 18 others did the walking tour with Harry yesterday. Harry was a terrific guide! He was informative, friendly & funny! This tour is a great introduction to a beautiful town & made us want to find out more, to visit the ‘highlights’ he pointed out & to revisit the town in the very near future. There is no pressure to tip at the end & Harry made history fun!

I have lived in Harrogate for a year and have seen Harry holding groups spellbound at various locations in central Harrogate when I've been running errands.I've vowed to myself I must attend one of the tours, as I love history and would like to know more about the town I now call home.What an absolute treasure! Harry is an impeccable guide, knowledgeable, so courteous and makes every individual member of a tour feel special.Interspersed with lots of gentle humour, the facts keep coming, but in such an engaging way, no one could fail to enjoy it- it's such fun.If you're in Harrogate- take the tour- it feels like a quintessential Harrogate experience- conducted with aplomb!

Harry was great and knowledgeable. He obviously loves Harrogate, and knows his stuff!! He's enthusiastic and a great teacher!! I came away feeling very happy to have learnt some history of the lovely town we stayed in. Thank you Harry!

What a delight! I’ve been in plenty of free walking tours, but this one tops them all. Harry manages the perfect balance of information and entertainment, keeping both the group and individual needs and questions covered at all times. All while maintaining a personal touch with each participant. Highly recommended. Time flew by and we learnt a lot about Harrogate and its history, while having a few laughs. 10/10

On Sunday afternoon my family and I joined Harry on his free walking tour of Harrogate.Before we set off Harry made every welcome and gave a brief overview of what we could expect during the tour.The tour itself was extremely well presented, giving historical accounts and plenty of humour, and Harry’s bright and caring personality shone through.What amazed me was even after just a brief introduction before we set off Harry remembered every persons name during the walk and spent time talking to everyone along the way.I can’t recommend this tour highly enough, if you do nothing else whilst you are in Harrogate make sure you do this. If you only have time to do one thing in Harrogate, go on Harry’s tour. Super informative and really got the sense that Harry not only cares about the history of Harrogate but is also an integral part of the community. Had a great time and will be recommending to friends.
