Very rude and abrupt. I wasnt to sure what i wanted as it was the first time buying foam and he made me feel very rushed and i ended up not being happy with what i got because he didnt want to explain the different options of foam. The whole experience was extremely unpleasant.. wish i had walked straight out of the shop when he barked what size" at me the moment i walked in.. dont waste your time or money"

Excellent service from Johnny, friendly, helpful and speedy service. Called him.in the morning, popped in to see him, discussed what I needed, double checked dimensions and collected before the end of the day. Very impressive and would recommend his services.

Our daughter needed sofa bed cushions made for her long boat a couple of years ago. We gave the dimensions and chose the material and Mr Elliott advised what foam to use. Took a couple of weeks to do. When we took them to the boat they looked amazing and fitted perfectly! Very professional finish and such a nice down to earth man to talk to. Would highly recommend. We have been back several times for other things and he is always helpful.

This seller is a thief! I bought online a foam topper from another seller that arrived with wrong size and the seller didnt replaced. I called Springfield stores and adviced me to swap with one of his foam. He took my foam giving 20% discount to his foam which i accepted but when i went to collect he gave to me another foam that was not the one he show me previously. He is over 80 y and pretend do not understand when i speak to him but on his way he is actually trying to steal. very, very upsetting person.....please avoid him!

Always wanting to support local businesses I visited with measurements for some foam seating pads I was making. This is one of the rudest men I have ever met! He firstly sent me back to my car, telling me he didn’t do centimetres and I needed to change it all to inches, which I did. Then when I went back in the shop he held his hand up, telling me to wait as he was busy. Again I politely waited until he looked at my drawing and new measurements and started huffing and puffing, telling me I hadn’t listened to his instructions properly!I promptly thanked him for his help (!) and left. If you can put up with such a rude man, I guess the product is probably fine but I could not deal with such an awful individual and have no idea how he is still in business.

When I called to enquire about upholstery foam, I was told to come to the shop with my dimensions and it would be cut immediately. No lengthily telephone discussion. Arriving at the shop, Mr. Elliott took my order, had me double check my dimensions and proceeded to cut 4 inch foam bed for us. Suggested a mesh wrap for it, which made it easier to handle. During the time of filling my order, the phone rang several times, other customers being told the same thing, Come in with your order and I will fill it. This is a very professional establishment, and it was a pleasure to do business here. We would highly recommend his services to everyone.

Went not quite knowing what to expect due to some bad reviews. I needn’t have worried. The chap was very helpful and knowledgeable. Got me the right piece of foam even though it wasn’t what I thought I needed. He explained why what I thought I needed wouldn’t work. Only thing to be aware of is that it’s cash only. I had to dash off to get cash out at the local Co-op. Beware when you drive out, it’s a very nasty, fast road.

Very pleasant man. Very happy with my sofa cushions that needed to be re done with new foam. Very efficient turn around. He knows his stuff.

Nice elderly helpful gentleman with many years of knowledge. Not pushy but only intent on making sure you get the right item for the job. You don’t get many like this anymore.Thank you Johnny for your help in supplying me exactly what I need at a fair price!

We enjoyed our visit here done a great job on reforming our armchairs. We found him a really nice guy down to earth tell how it is know his oinons.we liked him good old fashion oldboy. Only thing I would say is when you do go to him be careful when leaving the exit due to busy road . george and his chopsy mrs .
