The Hove Club

I got married here at Hove Club just over a week ago and it was such an amazing day. The staff were so friendly and made sure our day went perfectly! I want to say a special thank you to Alison for all the hard work she put in for our special day from start to end. The food was lovely and I couldn't of asked for any better. Thank you Hove Club!

A wonderful evening at a private function with friends.Staff were very friendly and very helpful.Surroundings are beautiful and the garden was a lovely area of calm.Looking forward to next time.

Wow! The Hove Club and their team exceeded my expectations and really made my wedding reception a spectacular occasion. My husband and I got married abroad earlier on in the year and wanted to have a UK reception for all our friends and family who couldn't attend the wedding abroad.We booked The Hove Club in June 2014 and after a few changeovers of event managers, we finally met Maddie a week before our reception. Communication passed to Maddie hadn't been great but she took note of everything I had said and how I imaged the day going and fulfilled. The day was exactly how I envisaged it and was a beautiful celebration. All the staff were expectionally helpful, especially Dee and Trevor who are bar and food staff. The food was delicious and all of my guests commented on what a wonderful day it was. Some of them even want to enquire for their wedding reception in the future.After a degree of stress and worry, The Hove Club really came up top and I would highly recommend this venue for any celebratory event.

My partner and I had looked at this place to celebrate our wedding. Alison, the person who liaised with us was initially very friendly and accommodating re the menu and payment. When we received the draft menu we asked if we could change it as it wasn't particularly nice and since that moment the lady started not replying to our emails and phone calls. My partner eventually managed to speak with her asking if she was upset and she denied. She told us she was going to speak with the chef and send us another draft. Disappeared again. We reached out via email asking for info and again no replies. Also all of a sudden she asked the full price as a deposit when initially it was only £200. Luckily we have now found a much nicer place to celebrate our special day and at the same price!

We have just had our wedding here and what can I say. Ali, Dee and all the staff bent over backwards (and then some) to make sure we had the most amazing wedding. 5 stars doesn't really cut it. Food....wow. a beautiful afternoon tea followed by a buffet in the evening. As real foodies I can tell you we were super happy with everything. If you want to get married in Hove then go straight for the cream and go and see Ali at the Hove Club.

Overpriced wine and poor food. At a lunch I attended recently my starter of melon and parma ham had 4 tiny, thin triangles of melon with a small piece of ham. The main course vegetables were cold and over cooked and the bread and butter pudding was sub standard with very little fruit.

Had our Christmas Dinner here this year, only negative was only one pig in blanket was given to us! The rest of the dinner was lovely well cooked and with a great atmosphere

My daughter got married here , Ali and her team are just amazing, very well executed on the day , sit down meal was amazing, couldn’t fault any off the amazing hard working friendly staff , no mistakes all very well done , thank you all for an outstanding day xxxxx

Always a lovely place to visit. Beautiful rooms, lovely food, attentive staff. Membership only club but has very active ladies and mens members. Good place to consider for a special event especially with the beautiful garden space. Bar available.

This club is for members and their guests only. I was invited for a summer barbecue which was utterly delicious. It is set in a really beautiful old building and has a beautifully maintained garden. Would encourage anyone to try it out!
