My two spaniels have been cared for by The Vet for the last 9 years. I have nothing but praise for the care, both online and in person, they have received during this period.

Recent visit for my Romanian Rescue. Annual vaccinations were due. He is extremely anxious. The vet we saw was amazing, understood how to handle him without having to muzzle. Vaccines in before he noticed. A really positive visit that I can build on. Thankyou !

Polite and nice staff and very friendly to my cats. I had been giving mixed and different advice from different staff. 1 of them told that I have to wait another 2-3 months to have the cats neutered and another staff said that I can book them straight in.

I have been with the practice for many years, and although I have to drive past 2 other vets to get there, I would not go anywhere else. I have never had any problems with them. The staff are friendly and very helpful with any problems. They have always treated myself and my dog with respect. You can tell the love they have for the animals and are very kind and loving to them. My dog always gets very excited when we pull up outside and can’t wait to get in there, for a fuss to be made of him, and of course the treats! I would recommend this surgery to anyone. Brilliant work and services

Great service, very competitive on price and what is a big bonus on a lot of vets is that it’s easy to get to, super easy to park and plenty of space inside to wait. When we’ve needed an appointment, they could always see us at very short notice (rang late on a Wednesday and had an appointment for midday Thursday).HOWEVER, be prepared to wait once you’re there! Waited about 20 minutes to be checked into reception, and another 50 minutes for the vet to see us.

2 Stars Only - For years I have only used The Vet for annual boosters and they have been perfect. I rate them highly for always accommodating my request for a female vet with my rescue Lab who can be particular about the men in his life. When I've actually needed you (0 stars):More recently both my dogs have had to have tests carried out, both times I was told that they would ring me with the results. When I rang 10 days later, I was told they hadn't arrived. After one of my dogs had nearly run out of meds I phoned to get a repeat prescription, it turned out to be a giant faff, the vet I spoke to requested a urine sample (that I'd already provided) I stated that and said that I was still waiting for results...turns out the results were there already! (So why weren't they available when I phoned earlier the same day???) Trying to get the meds has taken nearly a week. Again, I was promised that they'd ring when the prescription was ready, but I didn't receive a phone call. 6 days after my initial request, I finally managed to physically pick up a prescription after another faff over the phone I had to go to the vets to get taken seriously (my dog had run out of meds 2 days ago). I don't blame the receptionists in the slightest but I feel that the place is unorganised and understaffed because I'm hoping that the vets would actually stick to their promises of keeping us owners in the loop if they were staffed sufficiently.I'm changing vets now purely because one of my dogs was being checked for cancer which has been overlooked slightly in this review because the other had actually been prescribed lifelong meds.Personally I don't feel that I have received the respect that I deserved during a time when I was most worried about my pet's health and wellbeing. I'd expect that after consenting to test being carried out to determine whether or not a mass was cancerous that they'd have the decency to let me know either way. When I've actually needed them the most, the service has been shambolic.
