Fit For Life Mums
Since joining FitMums in July 2017 my life has changed so much for the better. I was an exhausted, overweight, slightly depressed, very anxious Mum of three who had got trapped in a cycle of toxic eating habits and sedentary lifestyle.The thought of going to a gym filled me with fear and I didn't know where to start. My clothes size had crept up to a 16/18 and looking in the mirror at myself was becoming more and more upsetting.I spoke to Karen (the Coach) at FitMums and she offered me a trial session. I can honestly say since that day I fell in love with training outdoors, pushing myself to work harder and test my body's ability. Not only tha,t but the warmth and friendliness of the other women is wonderful. They are the most non judgemental, supportive and kind women and I consider myself lucky to have forged firm friendships with many of them.Physically and mentally I'm in the best shape of my life! I lost three stone and my body has changed completely. My knowledge and awareness of nutrition and healthy choices has increased too.My mental health is better, I get out in the open three times a week and as a part of FitMums I have climbed Snowdon and Ben Nevis, raced dragon boats in the River Weaver and am competing in my first triathlon this year. All these things I would NEVER have had the confidence or fitness levels to attempt two years ago.To anyone thinking about taking the plunge - I would wholeheartedly encourage you to do so. Is it worth the money? YES. Is it worth the effort? YES. Will it change your life for the better? DEFINITELY! Can you do this and stick to it? ABSOLUTELY!

Fit For Life Mums
I joined Fit Mums just before my 50th birthday feeling like I should be doing more cardio exercise. I had niggly knees and a niggly back and I wasn’t sure I’d be able to do it, but turning up for that first session turned out to be the best thing I ever did. Almost 6 years later I’m fitter and stronger, my niggles are gone, and the benefits are more numerous than I could ever have imagined. It’s such a lovely group of empowered, supportive women led by amazing coaches – and this combination makes exercising really enjoyable. Highly recommended!

I joined Fitmums in June 2022 and I can honestly say it has been the BEST thing that I have ever done. I commenced the 6 week programme in November and have lost 3kg , I feel amazing inside and out. The programme is informative, allows you to make small changes to your choices without feeling like you’re you’re missing out . I love the Fit Mums classes , so much fun with a group I am now privileged to call my friends . I would highly recommend that people join if they can , you will gain so much from this amazing Team of people x x

A bit too early in the morning but such an amazing, inspirational and motivational experience that makes you feel energised and happy for the day ahead.The coaches (Karen and Sarah) are friendly, happy and knowledgeable giving you confidence that you will make good progress in reaching your goals.I didn’t know anyone when I started my first session 6 weeks ago, but I was made welcome and felt comfortable during each session.Each morning during my 6 week training sessions (Monday and Friday’s) there was circa 20/25 dedicated people taking part of all shapes, sizes, ages and capabilities.I’ve loved each session as not one session was the same, turning up not knowing what you are going to do was good as you were not put off by thinking I don’t fancy doing that tomorrow morning.The coaches were able to help change some of my exercises due to issues with my knee. This was great as it made me feel that I could still participate and enjoy the sessions and still get as much out of it as others.I have the bug of keeping fit fit now, which was my aim as well as losing 5kg and 2 inches from around the waist.I highly recommend giving fit dads (and mums) a try. Very friendly and welcoming group regardless of your personal fitness level. Lots of support as you start your journey. The session leaders push you but don't overwhelm you. Would highly recommend this group even though I'm not a mum!

Fit For Life Mums
I joined FitMums in the summer of 2022. I have really enjoyed being part of such a great programme. All the coaches are great, and there are lots of sessions you can attend to fit in with your lifestyle (both in-person and virtually). There are lots of social activities to get involved with too! Karen in particular has been an amazing part of my journey and it’s often felt like I have my own personal trainer. She motivates and pushes you, but is also supportive and genuinely cares. FitMums doesn’t just provide exercise routines, you get lots of advice on diet too. I like that the focus is on lifestyle changes rather than fad diets and unsustainable weight loss workout plans. I’ve learnt a lot from doing the programmes. I’d definitely recommend joining!

The best decision I have made in 2023! Fit Mums ticks all the boxes for me, since starting the 6 week Foundation Programme I feel so much better mentally, physically and emotionally. The support is outstanding, and the modules throughout the programme are thought provoking and very interesting and educational, the whole programme sets you on a journey to improve your life forever. Training with Fit for Life Mums has been worth every bit of effort! I always enjoy the sessions - the coaches are so encouraging & make it fun and varied, with the perfect balance between accepting me where I’m at physically and motivating me to push new boundaries in my fitness. The 6-week challenge I recently completed has been a game changer in improving my health and sense of well-being.
