The Hound Ville East Bierley - Luxury Dog Grooming Spa

Clive has been twice now and he seems to enjoy it. Looks super handsome after his first proper haircut. They did exactly what I asked for.

First time visiting and we won't be going back. Did a terrible job. My poor dog's looking totally lopsided, with one ear at least an inch longer than the other. And a very blunt count, just looks like cut straight across, no shaping at all. I need to visit another groomer to fix the poor work. Not sure what products they use, but she smells like those sickly sweet vapes.

Our golden Lab Lilo used to be terrified of the groomers. At our old groomers she skipped her collar to run out of the shop, she was always shaking when we took her in and when we picked her up and she just wasn’t herself for the rest of the day. We thought we’d try somewhere new and found The Hound Ville just on Google. After reading a few reviews and looking over their website we took her yesterday and it was the best experience for us and Lilo. As soon as we got there, the staff were so welcoming and Lilo was a bit nervous walking in but no where near like she used to be at our old place. She had a sniff around and settled so we left her. When we picked her up she was so happy!! Proper smiling and no shaking at all. She was de-shedded and smelt amazing. I can not recommend these guys enough. The staff are friendly, patient, knowledgeable and amazing at what they do. We’re booked in again and this will be our regular groomers now!

Booked in a few weeks ago being very excited to take my puppy as they ensured me everything would be okay, they quoted me £45-60 with a £20 deposit. After the service was completed they charged me £100 with a rebooking (keeping the deposit off which they said it would carry for the following groom) with my puppy the following month which they ensured me they would follow up on via text message and a phone call. I did not receive a call/message and ended up missing the appointment which I understand is partly my fault. For some reason my number is no longer going through to the business, I can no longer get a hold of them and I have not been refunded my deposit.Furthermore while grooming her at home she hates sprays and combs now she has developed some sort of fear towards it. Where as before taking her. She used to enjoy getting brushed.

The staff are nice and friendly. And they did a great job on my chow chow.

Excellent service and lovely people. Our puppy has been a few times for grooming and every time has been excellent. First proper cut recently and he looked amazing! Charlie also goes on the group dog walks and he loves it. Always excited to see the girls when they pick him up, it tires him out and it’s really improving his development. A friendly, talented team - thank you :)

Fantastic grooming experience for Rupert! He is quite an anxious dog but was put at ease immediately from walking through the door until we picked him up after his groom! He looked & smelt beautiful! Thank you so much! Xx

Lovely, caring people and fantastic service. I especially love all the smells you can choose from for your pooch and that the staff always know the best style to give your dog. All the extra available service for the groom are also a plus to give your dog some extra love.

First Time visit for my 1 year old Dashound and he had a full groome very very satisfied and will deffo use them again
